~ _JaguarPVP's Hacker Catching Guide~

As you all have seen survival games on Brawl there are so many hackers, and it's really irritating trying to deal with them, its unfair, and for a while now I've just brushed it off, but as I see more and more hackers starting to play on SG, I'm sure as all the Mods and Admins have seen, I've been reporting every hacker I see, and I never really knew if someone was hacking or if I just suck cx, so here's some tips to Catching Hackers

Kill Aura : The first kind of Hacker you will encounter is the Kill Aura Hacker. In a nutshell it's just reach hacks, they can hit past what minecraft allows you to hit. As a player can only hit about 2 blocks, away these little guys can hit farther.. Another trait these guys have is hitting you when you're behind them. They have the ability to hit you from insane distances. A great way to tell if someone is using Kill Aura is to press F3 + B, it will show you their hitbox and hit range. The hit range will appear as a straight blue line and it moves as you look up or down, BUT if someone is using Kill Aura the Blue Line wont move but stay in a straight line. Even if the hacker looks up/ down/ left/ right any direction the line will stay perpendicular to his hitbox.
NOTE: Not all F3 + B Will work it only works with certain clients.

Jesus: The 2nd kind of Hacker is the Jesus Hacker, these are easy hackers to record because they glide, fly, walk on water, and are basically invincible when they look down and attack you. Just watch them and record, and always upload <33

Regeneration: There is no great way to catch Regen Hackers, they don't reach, or give off particles, but turn on particles to make sure they didn't gapple, and just record yourself hitting them over and over again and if there are no particles, and they aren't dying to your hits (You have to hit them at least like 20 times) Then send in a report <3

Speed Hackers: Same thing as the Regen Hackers turn on particles and if they are running like speed 2 or faster just record and make sure you show that you have particles on and that they are emitting no particles

Fly/ Spider: This is pretty taken care of by NCP but is always a possibility just record them flying/ wall climbing.

X-Ray: Notice when they are in DM and there is a hider if they stand still, enabling an X-Ray texture pack and then immediatley turn toward the hider, that is a clear indication of X-Ray

Aimbot: An aimbot hacker is when a player right clicks on an rightclickable item like a sword, and they aim towards the nearest player. If they are near another player their head will spazz out and they will still manage to hit you.

Anti-Knockback: The easiest way to catch anti-knockback hackers is to shoot them with a bow and if they keep charging at you same speed and not taking knockback they are using anti-knockback. Same goes with when you hit them with your sword, but it's not as easy to tell.


I recommend using Ice Cream recording it opens very quickly and even though it doesnt have the best quality, its very easily to you and you can still tell if someone is Hacking

~HOW TO REPORT~
At the bottom of the Home Page there is a little white box with tnt in it and is titled "Useful Links" click on report a rule break and fill out the following information
Rule Breaker's IGN: _BlahBlahBlah
Reason: Hacking/ Spammin
Server: SG/ Lobby
Proof: Video/ ScreenShot
Other: Explain you proof and add times and such) optional *

Check your reports:
Once again click on report a rule breaker and at the top left of the screen there should be a button that says My Reports and if you reported someone and it's unresolved it will say 1 if you reported 1 person or 2 if you reported 2 people etc. If the report was resolved there should be a 0 by my reports and then look for the status column, and see if your report was successful

 

Windows 8 it might be F3+ A/C you have to press them at the same time
