Fix the damn particles

Minimize your particles through settings, or find ways to increase your fps. :V

 

Turn off the particles or decrease them via options.

 

I do it for humor.

Honestly, I did it just to have a good laugh, but Optifine is already of the obvious for fps boosting.

 

Why would the owners remove the particles that represent killstreaks? Honestly, if you can't just minimize your particles while playing on that server, or find other ways to increase overall fps, then it's your own fault.

You're calling the owners "stubborn" when you won't even try to find an alternative to boost your fps. Come back when you've at least attempted to do what we're suggesting.

 

Particles are in the server for visual purposes. Do you think it's fun when you're playing McWar with no explosions coming from Laws and Ray Guns? Or how about particles from any other server that uses fireworks for cosmetic purposes? For the most part, you say lag is the reason why particles should be removed but did you know?


You can turn them off.

 

Remember to configure your settings for maximum FPS. Particles shouldn't affect frames too much, so try turning render distance down, graphics on fast etc.

Also, install Optifine. It helps those with not so strong computers.

If all else fails, remember it isn't hard to switch on and off your particles. This shouldn't be an excuse to call out the administrators.

 

1: Particles are small, go get some glasses.
2: They're rendered orthographically, how could they possibly lag you that badly?
3: Insignificant. My crappy laptop could calculate/send particle packets without dropping so much as 10^-8 tps.
4: Most players disagree. They're aesthetic.

How is it not right? You honestly are too lazy to go to your video settings and turn it off in a few seconds but you decide to whine about it on the forums. I don't care if this is just kit only but I'm assuming it goes for every other server. And that video you put up? That guy's computer hardly lagged compared to my fps even though I turn OFF my particles unlike some jerks.

 

The server often includes many particles in order for people with higher grade computers to enjoy the maximum performance. I know it may suck, and I for one also do not have the best pc, but because of this we are forced to make changes in our settings to accommodate the gamemode. It is not the Admins being stubborn, it is them thinking that you will change your settings to accommodate the gamemode. That, and many gamemodes like this have the high amount of particles for a reason, it gives you a more immersing gaming experience. Long story short, Minecraft, and kitbrawl in general, are very high FPS demanding games. And many people have good computers to handle these servers. I know you make not like it, but sometimes we have to take charge. They will no change it, and if you get too fed up, there are always more servers.
