The texture pack I'm using is Flows HD. Forgot to mention that in the post, so edited it. Thanks ^_^

You should add glowstone under the water and use clay under the water to make it look like coral. And I love your map, it's amazing

Haha yeah, the trees look amazing. Thank you :stuck_out_tongue:

I'll think about adding the glowstone & clay. Thank you for the idea/suggestion!

The map looks awesome, but if you're aiming for it to be a SG Map, I don't think it's nearly detailed or big enough to make the cut when compared to current SG maps.

A lot of the map is just empty terrain (see spoiler screenies for examples). I'd suggest adding more trees, bushes, paths, buildings, etc. to add more variety to the map.

Before you add more buildings, though, figure out a theme. You've got an awesome lil watermill, a small village, a castle, ruins, and an airplane. It's a mix of medieval and modern - figure out which you want to go with and stick to it.

The ruined cabin in the middle of the cave lake seems... random. Out of place. As if you were looking for something to take up space and decided to do so by adding a house in the middle of a body of water. You shouldn't necessarily remove it, just be aware that it seems a bit odd.

Bridges would also be a useful addition for players in order for them to get from one side of the map to the other in a quick fashion. Sure, swimming across the river is possible, but it's not as quick and invites other players with long range weapons to take out the swimming player.

All in all, you've got a cool project going on. I'd like to see it become even better and hope you take my suggestions into consideration.

Yeah, I asked Putty if I can get a world for the map but he hasn't given me an answer yet. So once MCBuild comes out, I'm hoping to transfer it to the world there and continue the process. It's only been two months, and because of school I haven't been able to really work on it too much. Once I get summer vacation, I'll be working on it a lot more. I have lots of new ideas to add to the plot. However, I can't add all of them in only few months. It'll take time and as I said in the post many times, it's still W.I.P.

It's not really modern nor medieval. I don't really have a theme for it since I started the project without a plan. It was just kind of a free build. The plan now though, is to make it look somewhat abandoned. Some builds right now may look modern, but after everything is done, we'll be making them look more abandoned.
"It's a mix of medieval and modern"
The funny thing is, medieval and modern are my weaknesses, so I have no idea how you see it as medieval & modern :stuck_out_tongue:
Thank you for the advice, I'll think about what theme it should/could be, with the members who are part of the group project.

Yeah, I agree. It does look like it's just in middle of no where. I've been thinking about that just few days ago on what to do with it. I was thinking maybe I can move it over to the side a little so it's connected to the dock or something. Still deciding what to do about it though.

I have a list of new ideas to add to the plot, and one of them is bridges.

Thank you very much for taking time to give me ideas/suggestions and advice. I appreciate it! I will work on it a lot more with the members of the group project. Hopefully, it'll look way better in a few more months.

The plane doesn't really fit in. You might want to change its position. Nice progress though.
