    Branching off the mine for diamonds game, we could do a game where gold ingots fall down from the sky and players have to catch them, the player with the most points wins :smile:

    Gold: 1 point
    Diamond: 3 points
    Emerald: 5 points

    This is basically the same thing as my idea. (See here) They didn't like the idea of picking up items because apparently minecraft has this weird system for determining who gets to pick up the item.

    They're wrong, the system isn't that weird, and could pretty easily be changed by some NMS.

    What's referred to as NMS is a section of Bukkit that is unexplored, but allows editing of things of ingame mechanics.

    I would wait until the gamemode is either accepted or denied before I'd make a map, to make sure you don't waste your time.

    EDIT: Hold on, this is basically a duplicate of randomcitizen's post.

    I'm not sure, maybe an edit to revise?
    I like this idea but maybe if you make it so you need a right ammount of gold to pass on, anyone who doesn't gets disqualified and dies.
    Make it into 3 rounds, let's say you need 15 to pass first round, 20 to win second round, and 30 to win third round.
    If no one gets to third round the player/players who have the most in round II will win

    No no, I am not offended. Why would I be? Anyways, I you would like to see my post, you can see it here. It didn't make it very far, but I might complete the map just to let people see how fun it is. Also, I came up with another minigame after the first one wasn't recieved very well. I am working on it now, and you can find that here.
