** Server Ranks - Staff **

Staff members help keep Brawl in order; whether this be from handing player disciplines, appeals, questions, or designing gamemodes. We currently have the following staff ranks: JMOD, MOD, SMOD, and ADMIN. The higher the rank, the more permissions it has.

• JUNIOR MODERATOR (JMOD)​

When staff are first promoted, they are given the Junior Moderator rank. For a month, or longer, they remain in a "trial" phase which means they only have JMOD on the server they applied for. Once the team feels like they are ready, they are moved out of the trial phase and given JMOD on every server.

In general, their duty is to monitor chat, answer questions from players, forward information from higher ups, and alert moderators of rule breakers on servers.

To move onto the Moderator rank, they need to pass a hack evaluation test and show great understanding of Minecraft cheats.


• MODERATOR (MOD)

A Moderator's duty is to discipline hackers and to take care of appeals.


• SENIOR MODERATOR (SMOD)

Generally, Senior Moderators have specific roles that they focus on. Whether this be a specific task or managing a group of moderators. Overall, they manage server ideas, track bugs, and plan changes.

The big difference between MOD and SMOD is that they can handle IP lookups and bans.


• ADMINISTRATOR (ADMIN)

Administrators help the Brawl staff team operate smoothly. They make the final call on big decisions like accepting staff, deciding on future plans, resolving internal disputes, and purchase issues.
