    Hey everyone!
    My name's Pavo and I used to be a build mod for mcpvp. When minecraftparty was first released, I built this map to submit as a new minigame, but never got around to it. So anyway, here I am.

    The idea is called book battle. Everybody starts off in this huge spacious library with a sword:

    When the game starts, the bookshelves 'explode' into flying books (books riding invisible bats):

    The aim is to try and collect as many books as possible. Enchanted books/Written books appear occasionally, which are worth more points than default books. At the end of the round, the person with the most points is the winner. Simple, right?
    I made a little demonstration in singleplayer, but it could still be 1000x better!

    What do you guys think?

    I think having a double jump would enhance the gameplay and maybe being able to punch eachother >:grinning: otherwise great idea Pavo <3

    This is a really cool idea for a minigame! I like the concept and you have already build a map for it. The only issue I see is it may get a bit laggy with a lot of entities around. As well as the bats unpredictable movement, which could lead to a number of bats staying up high to never be hit.

    Hmmm, I'm not sure about the entities, but for the bats flying up high: players could be given bows+arrows or those invisible blocks could be used to block off the higher areas? :stuck_out_tongue:

    +1, this seems similar to Potion Drop but I like this one better. In Potion Drop potions drop randomly, it isn't fair. In this game, you have to actually work, not just stand and wait for a potion then get out. I hope to see it sometime soon!

    Wow! I would really like to play that game. It seems fun, and hard. I like that! I will become a boss in that game also! :v

    I think it's too similar to the farm game with the cows and the chicken.

    The only big difference is that you have to collect your points instead of getting the automatically.

    I really think this would be a fun game if you had a double jump. Double jump would solve the issue of bats being up high. (Make sure there aren't any shelves for players to stand on if double jump is possible) Great map as always, Pavo <3

    I like this idea a lot. I would just add a lot more books to come out. As 1 person, I see it is hard to grab them. And with 16 players (on average) in a game, the books might be gone quite quick. All in all, amazing idea!

    I think this looks like a good game, someone said that it might get laggy, it won't, as far it's not over 30 players and like 30 bats it wont get laggy.. The thing I really liked with this thread, was your DEMO, I was thinking the same, to read the game ideas, then try to make demos out of them, and I am trying to get a test team, click here if you are interested.

    I feel like people could just wait on the ground and steal other people's books. I would prefer that books automatically go into your inventory, but this might be too similar to the chicken game.
