/tag feature

I don't think this is necessary. It was a cool feature but not needed.

 

This was was a very fun and actually helpful feature that MCPVP had. I do agree it should be added since I found it to be quite useful and made it so i wasn't targeted as much.

 

Could you elaborate what the command does? It hides your rank, but what do you mean with this:

 

Well you can do /tag JMOD/GMOD/YOUTUBER/ELITE/MVP/VIP whatev. and it will show you the rank.
For example the ELITE players can do /tag MVP - /tag VIP - /tag normal (No rank look)
The MVP players can do /tag VIP - /tag normal
The VIP players can do /tag normal

and to reset the rank to your default they can do /tag default or /tag (There rank)

 

So they can get the tag of a rank they don't have?

 

Well no, they can only tag the rank which is lower then theirs. Like a MVP can't choose ELITE aswell a VIP can't get ELITE.

ELITE can choose: ELITE, MVP, VIP, Normal
MVP can choose: MVP, VIP, Normal
VIP can choose: VIP, Normal

and they can all use default to get their "reset" to their OWN rank.

 

Why would you need to be able to get the tag of another lower rank? Why not only hide it?

 

Could also be an option. But this would be a bit more awesome. This is really usefull for Youtubers (small + big ones), streamers. They won't get targeted in a lot of games because they are "famous"
I would like this feature, but anyways I like the fact Brawls staff DOES listen to their community

The /tag in MCPvP allowed donators to essentially choose the color of their tag.

 

Some people didnt like the color of their rank and maybe liked a color of one of the lower ranks. i personaly only used /tag in kitpvp to pretend like I was a randy when kids called me on hacks. Or i would tag normal in hg so when people track you and tab your name they arnt like "oh looks its a pro for life, I should probs be more cautious" I found this really good if you were trapping because they would just think your some randy white name mining or doing somthing stupid. Also it helped with the occasional "hey can you buy me kit plz" type of msgs you would get from the whiteys

 

I see where you are coming from. You are asking to be able to hide your rank so you aren't targeted. The idea of a privacy button would be nice.

 

I think the main use of this on MCPVP was for the gamemode called Sabotage, where basically everyone would target the people who had the PRO tag. It could've also been useful for a handful of Mods/YouTubers. There is no real use of it for regular players on Brawl. I could also see it causing confusion on WarZ in terms of who can or cannot use /tpa.

 

a /tag feature means i think it could be nice.

 

I don't think it is too important but still a cool idea.

 

This was actually a thing back in McPVP, no idea why it was removed to be honest
