    It is censoring my race! telling me that my name is inappropriate! I said *****ia (nigeria) in chat and a mod threatened to mute me! It is racist, telling me that my race (Nigerian) is inappropriate!

    While race does play a key role, countries are not bound by a single race. There is no need to bring race into a dispute about countries, just because a country is mainly one race does not mean that it is racist to go against them. It isn't because of the country that it is being censored, it's because of the way the community acts and tries to bypass the filter.

    It actually has nothing to do with the countries of Niger or Nigeria, It has to do with how people find ways to bypass the filter. The Brawl staff have nothing against any race, religion, or nationality. Likewise, nationality has nothing to do with race, and race has nothing to do with nationality. There is a perfectly fine chance for someone who is of Hispanic descent to have a Nigerian nationality.

    Also to the OP, Nigerian is not a race, it is a nationality. Race is based from easily distinguishable traits (skin color, body proportions, etc.), whereas, nationality is based off of the country that you were born in.

    What about just implementing an option for enabling the filter or not that way younger kids won't have to see any swear words and older players can say and express whatever they like. This way OP can say his nationality without being censored, and people can type whatever they want (frankly it makes good reading while people have flame wars), and that smaller children won't be exposed

    You can say "sth" but it isn't abused, so if you can say Niger then it probably wouldn't be abused either.

    And let me remind you that it was you North-Americans who turned the word "Niger" from the definition of colored people to a curse word.

    Brittan he doesn't need to prove citizenship or jack nothing. What if he isn't a citizen but his parents are. This is racist and needs to be taken out of the brawl community. With trolls like you asking for citizenship this gets worse. Please resign ASAP and then go take a hike.

    Maybe Nigerian can be unblocked. Even if you call someone a Nigerian, you're saying that they're this ethnicity. I will have to say no to Niger, because it's still a substitute for the "N" word.

    Thank you for trying to fight earlier. I just joined and it was not changed and it actually offended me! I wish it was changed! We need to change this for future Nigerians who play on Brawl!
