Accepted Ritzy's MC-WarZ Moderator Application

Brawl Moderator Application:
You may have noticed that my recent apps have been a mix of WarZ and PvP. This is because I play both very frequently but due to my last application being resigned and all the moderators telling me I should have applied for WarZ instead, I decided to make this one a WarZ application. In the future if I pass the trial stage I can moderate both WarZ and PvP with no problem.

I am using the same application as I don't need to improve it as I was denied for a different reason. So all I have done to change it is update key facts and change the information around to what I believe I can do to WarZ instead of PvP.

I have read over this thread multiple times and feel as if I am ready to take on this Moderator position on the Brawl server. I have practiced my abilities in every field of Signatured’s thread and can assure you that I will be a good addition to the staff team.

I have changed my name once from RitzY_Gaming to RitzY, then to Ritzy. I also do not plan on changing it again in the future either.

Does anyone else have access to your Minecraft account? -
No, no-one else has access to my Minecraft account. I have answered my security questions and made sure my account is 100% safe as well.

How old are you? -
At the moment I am 14, I turn 15 in August. (5th)

What time zone are you in? -
I am in the GMT Timezone.

Are you multilingual? Can you speak multiple languages? -
I only speak fluent english, however I know tiny pieces of German and French from school.

What is your experience and knowledge of Minecraft? -
My experience of Minecraft started about 3 years ago. I first purchased it on my Xbox 360 console, I played with a couple of friends and really enjoyed the game. After a while I got my Macbook, and instantly got the PC version of Minecraft as I had heard it was a lot better. This is where my experience really began, I came across many servers where I could do whatever I like. Building random stuff on creative servers, playing on prison servers and stuff. Then I came across McBrawl, this is where my knowledge of Minecraft really increased, I became friends with many people and have talked to lots of people as well. I know that when I first came here in February 2014 I was immature but, I soon came across various moderators like Lord_Roke and Parkman1221 and after many kicks at the start of my time here they matured me up to the position I’m at now. My time at brawl has consisted of me playing pretty much every one of the servers here that we offer. It started on Survival PvP where I made many friends and then I became introduced to guns, this made me start playing Mc-WarZ, fpsHG, minestrike and war. At this moment I have been playing Brawl for 13 months+ and its doesn’t seem like I will be leaving any soon. I have enjoyed every moment of my time here and I try to make others have that experience as well.

My WarZ experience started by playing with a very old team called Schinken Squad which was owned by Naturizer and wwraver. I have now been playing for over a year and I am improving day by day. MC-WarZ has always been fun to me and it was only 6 months ago when I decided to start playing it seriously like I did on PvP.

What is your experience with moderating servers, if any? -
I have had some moderating experience on a Warz Practice server called M4Play. I used to be an SMOD on there until it was sadly shut-down. I only have proof of me being a moderator at this time but if I find any proof of the SMOD position I will edit this post and add it straight away. Here is the proof, MOD = pink.

I really enjoyed my time as a moderator on that server and I also believe I did a very good job as I was promoted to the SMOD rank. I hosted daily events on there and was extremely active.

What will you provide to the community if you are provided moderator status? -
If I were to be provided with the moderator status I would obviously give constant moderation to the Mc-WarZ server. I would keep out Rules Breakers which include: Advertisers, DDoS threats, Spammers, glitchers and flame wars. All I want is too see the community pull together by taking away the rules breakers. I will always be monitoring chat whilst playing as flame is a key aspect to WarZ these days which covers DoS Threats, Hackusations, and arguing. I will make sure to warn and punish people correctly and will never abuse my powers.

Have you ever used a hacked client before? -
Sadly, yes. I used to use the hacked client Kronos back about 11 months ago, however as soon as I was banned for ForceField I knew it was time to stop. Since then I have never hacked and would never even think about installing a client ever again. I now know that hacking is completely wrong as you are destroying other peoples game and you are also cheating yourself as well.

Have you ever been banned on a Minecraft server? If so, why? -
The only server I ever recall being banned on is McBrawl. I was banned for ForceField on Survival PvP this ban was 2014-07-20 (11 months ago) and since then have never touched another Hacked Client.

What do you consider your greatest strength? -
I would consider my greatest strength would be that I can get to the end of situations quickly and stop whatever is happening swiftly. This makes It easier to get on to another situation quicker. With this strength it will help me a lot in the future if I am granted this position and will be a key factor to stopping flame wars and keeping rule breakers out of the game.

What do you consider your greatest weakness? -
I would consider my greatest weakness to be that sometimes when I die in-game I can become short-tempered. I raise my voice and get a bit angry but recently I have started to suppress this mood. I believe that now I barely do this and if you want proof just talk to me on TeamSpeak for a while. I can assure you I am mature in these situations 99% of the time.

How active do you consider yourself on Brawl? -
I consider myself extremely active on brawl as I am on pretty much 24/7 at the weekend, I know its sad but I’m addicted. Brawl is what I am always playing and can’t stop. I am on all night and into mornings. I play a variety of Brawl’s servers for hours on end, and try to moderate them as much as possible.

Which Brawl servers are you most active on? -
Mc-WarZ & Survival PvP.

How many hours can you provide a day and during what time frame? -
In the GMT Timezone I am usually on at 6pm on week-days from then I hop on and offline until about 9pm which covers 3 hours on a school day. However on weekends my activity increases immensely, I can be on for 9 hours+.

What would you do if someone breaks a rule in-game? -
It would depend on what the user did. If it was a minor rule break I would just warn the player about what they had done with the new /warn command so they would know what they have done wrong and hopefully not do it again. If it was more of a serious rule break like spamming as such I would mute the rule breaker for a time of 10 minutes and send them a warning message on what would happen if they break that certain rule again. Of course if any of these rule breaks continue to occur from the same player they will receive a kick for an amount of time which will be judged on the offence.

What would you do if someone breaks a rule on the forums? -
If someone were to break a rule on the forums I would tell them what they had done so they won't do it again and go on to either locking the thread or deleting their comment depending on what had happened. If it was just one thing it would be deleted, but if it was a huge flame war I would most probably lock the thread if I could see it carrying on in the future.

What would you do if someone breaks a rule on TS3? -
If someone were to break a rule on TeamSpeak 3 I would first address them with what they had done wrong and give them an opportunity to stop what they were doing. If they don't stop, for example a voice changer. I would move them into the Private Support/Jail channel until they had stopped doing it and if they do continue I would kick them from our server for about 30 minutes with a reason "Trolling - Voice Changer". If they continue to keep coming back I would just mute them on the server and report it to higher staff to give them a perm-ban.

Situation (as a staff member): You log on Brawl, and you’re told that there is a huge, game-breaking economy glitch. No Admins are online to solve the situation. What steps would you take to handle the issue? -
I would make sure to check over TeamSpeak and seek for help from higher staff and if I caught anyone doing this "economy glitch" I would kick them from the server for 24 hours and write down a list of the users name which were abusing this rule. I would also ask various other moderators to help me catch the people abusing this glitch. When an admin comes online later that day I would notify him on this glitch so he could get it sorted and give him the list of names that were abusing it so they the higher staff team could deal with the people who abused that certain glitch.

How many Brawl staff applications have you made in the past? -
I believe I have made around 6 applications. 4 in 2014 where I had no chance because I was very immature and didn't have the correct skill to take on the job, but my last application nearly made it, as it was up for over a month with positive feedback and with 31 yes's, 11 maybe's and 11 no's I believe I did pretty well.

I really wish I didn't have such a bad record for my apps however I do and they are there now. My ones I have made in 2015 have been very good and extremely close to being accepted, I just hope I have nailed it this time.

Do you have a working microphone? -
Yes I have a Blue Snowball which is in fully working condition and I use it on TeamSpeak everyday with absolutely no echo.

Are you able to record and upload videos? -
Yes I have my own channel where I upload all the hackers I find throughout the server in hope to get them banned and off the server. I will always continue catching these hackers until my time comes to an end on this server.

Do you generally know how all the staff member commands work? -
Yes I have a basic understanding of most the commands, and I am friends with a lot of other Moderators so I can learn of them if I am granted with this position.

Anything else we should know about you? -
My name is Jack I am British, I am fairly sporty and have many hobbies like my youtube channel where I love uploading videos based on the Brawl server. I have 2 alternate accounts which I can tell you about if needed and my activity in all areas will not decrease if I am provided with the Moderator status.

Yeah, the reason to me putting the 9 and the 11 is that I was told my old application was ok so I just used the same thing and edited it altering key information. That must have been something I missed.

To your question Speed, I was told my old application was amazing and I still believe that 80% still applied to how I was now. All I really did was change up a couple things and update it.

 

Im on teamspeak 24/7. I do however need to improve on going in public channels.
