Surveillance (perhaps rename to security, because of name complexity)
Surveillance is a kit for those who want to know where their opponents are, and where they are moving. Using their cameras, those who run the Surveillance kit are always aware..

    How the kit works:
The Surveillance kit starts with 5 dispensers (renamed Camera or Security Camera). The player running the kit can place these blocks wherever they want to begin their surveillance (perhaps when placed they become camouflaged?) When an opposing player comes within a 50 block radius, the camera will notify the owner of the camera that it has noticed a player approach it. (EG. "Rytheria (x:, y:, z:smile: has stepped within the radius of CAMERA 1 (x:, y:, z:smile: - be aware!).

    Pros
Place Camera's strategically around the map to increase coverage
If you're in a tower, this can notify you if they're nearby
If you set up a trap, it could notify you if they're approaching
If you're mining, set up a camera to tell you if anybody comes close to your mine

    Cons
    No PVP abilities, just awareness
Generally a support play style kit, not made for solo
Only 5 cameras, once you've used them you have little use

    Starting Items
Dispencer x 5 (renamed Security Camera or Camera

    Cooldown
    There is no cool down.

If anybody wants me to explain how I think this kit should work, send me a PM or comment below
Hopefully my explanation has done it though! xD
Also if you have anything to add or change that I missed, comment and PM! :grinning:

I think this is a great idea! Not only is it completely balanced, it applies to our daily strategies! I'd love to see this kit in hg! +1

Quick question: can you pick up cameras along the way and can anyone else break the cameras?

I think when they place the block down the camera turns into the block under it, but at a random choosen side it stays as the despenser. Also it has a quite sound like beeping, so it's easier to find and destroy. Once a camera is destroyed you can make another one.

I'd assume you can break the cameras but perhaps that would be too underpowered. Also if anything, I wouldn't make it easy to get more camera because theyre pretty powerful little tools. :stuck_out_tongue:

If this was possible it would be cool (I'm not sure if it would be, but if it was..). I like the idea of when its broken you can create another one.

Anything is possible with code my friend. This kit is pretty nice but it needs a pvp advantage to bring it to a good point, what if someone is 10 blocks close to a camera gets strength I(Everyone gets it)

Maybe they can be detonatable? If the player types something like /d 1 it would detonate a small explosion on camera 1 (destroying the camera). Or perhaps if they get too close to the camera you can see into their inventory? (Spitballing here :stuck_out_tongue:)

Use the camera's as explosives makes for good traps. So yet another trapping kit could bring in a crowd. but there should be something to help it combine with another kit like ex: hulk or such.

We'd have to decide on radius though, and how it would work because explosives can end up being pretty powerful if not balanced correctly.

I don't understand what you mean by combine though?

Something in that kit should help it be a more teaming kit. IMO no, it's quite good on its own

this kit is op because you can easily ward river, tri-bush, dragon, enemy buff, AND lane bush

In all honesty if this kit is how I imagine it by scanning through the replies then it should replace spy if that garbage kit still exists.
    How I imagine it:

You place invisible blocks that alert you when a player walks near (like spy), you can also switch into first person view of one of the cameras at any given point (you leave behind your body like ghost but you are invisible and can't move at all when viewing from a camera)

Why does there have to be another trap kit? And what's wrong with a solo trap kit?

There may have been miscommunication, though the first person idea does sound cool the original idea was to have invisible like camera that notify you of player movements within the radius of the camera, so then you can structure your attacks on your opponents better.

There are really no pvp buffs to this kit so i dont think it would be overpowered, unless perhaps the detonation feature was introduced which we have been discussing in the comments.

"this kit is op because you can easily ward river, tri-bush, dragon, enemy buff, AND lane bush"

What do you mean by this?

When I saw the name for the kit I just assumed "cameras you can spectate" which is why I jumped to that conclusion; I scanned through the topic

    http://leagueoflegends.wikia.com/wiki/Ward

edit, further explanation: Support character classes often buy wards so you can grant vision of the map to the rest of your team. Normally you can only have a max of 3 wards on the map per player. The made up names for common places that supports ward are "river" (bush in the river), "tri-bush" (a bush in between one of the paths to the bottom lane of the map), "dragon" (A neutral monster that grants buffs to the team that kills it, respawns every 6 minutes), "enemy buff" (neutral mob on the enemies' side of the map that grants a useful buff), and "lane bush" (the bush in the bottom lane)

    - You can't see people hiding in a bush unless you have a ward that grants vision inside of said bush

here's the league map with dots in good places to ward: [IMG]

hint: it was a joke and I just killed it by over explaining everything ^_^

I wouldn't make this a new kit all on it's own but this would be a great buff to Spy. Being able to add points to the map to "spy" on would be great along with the compass feature to give you great awareness of the map. Might make Spy a useful kit again.

Jesus man, I admire your effort into making that joke xD
I was literally reading through that thinking "what is going on" the whole time :stuck_out_tongue: (I'm not a LoL player obviously)

That's not a half bad idea. But in my personal opinion, Spy is actually quite helpful as it warns you of anyone within a 50 block radius, which is very handy for being aware of people around you. However, in saying that, perhaps this camera type idea would work as a Spy buff better than a new kit.

I guess it's really up to developers and how they take the idea.
