    Alchemist
Alchemist turns iron into gold, wearing a full suit of gold armour gives the wearer infinite speed I night vision I.

    How the kit works:
Burning an iron ingot with coal in furnace turns it into a golden ingot.
If the wearer is wearing full golden armour, they are given Speed I and Night Vision I perks for along as they keep the armour on (this does not include sword).
To make it balanced, perhaps wearing golden armour depletes quicker (lower durability) or perhaps makes a sound like anchor to reveal their position.

    Pros
    - Speed I
    - Night Vision I

    Cons
    - Gold armour is worse than iron
    - (POTENTIAL) Quicker depletion rate
    - (POTENTIAL) Anchor sound which reveals position

    Starting Items
    N/A

    Cooldown
No cool down (for the current idea)

    Tell me what you think!
    I'm open to discussion!
I tried to make it as balanced as possible, tell me if you think it isn't!

    Cheers,
    Rytheria! :grinning:

Sounds like a balanced idea, especially because gold armor isn't so durable. Good idea! +1.

I don't think many people would use this kit -1. Very balanced, not too op and not too crappy, +1. Not applicable to tower/trap/hunt (unless you count the speed part.) -1 I also think the night vision aspect is useless bc half the people who play HG have their gama up high.

That's a good point, perhaps if we changed the buff to something different? Any ideas?

    Thank you!

I think wearing gold armor give spped I and the ability to give all players aroiund him slowness I for 2 seconds. ( Doesn't build up) Also instead of night vision make it mining fatigue so they can't mine while wearing it basically, or hey mine slower. if they use any sword but gold the slowness effect on people do not apply.

Gold armor is not worth speed 1.
It breaks way to quickly :/.

Perhaps we should just introduce some more buffs? Maybe water breathing or jump boost or even immune to fire or something :stuck_out_tongue:

when the kit puts it on give it unbreaking II, makes it slighly worth it, And same for the sword. This kit could be could for all kinds of things, use it to keep people from running from endermages when they are maged for example

I don't mind the looks of unbreaking II at all, it'd have to be tested though to see if it's balanced but I personally think it would be.

Too many cons imo Gold armor isn't durable and doesn't provide enough protection. The speed is nice but it's not close to making up for the other disadvantages, especially considering the other mobility kits.

I'm hoping this kit comes out with nun, i believe that nun should have the affect to counter this kit?

Putting unbreaking on this kit and slowness on someone would make it worth it, i could see people using this kit, maybe even bump up the time on slowness II?

I don't think the gold armor is worth the amount of buffs that it gives. Gold armor breaks incredibly quickly and it would be really bad in soup fights. I'd make the buffs better somehow, as speed isn't really worth it.

Great point, completely understand what you're coming from. So it definitely seems like it needs more buffs to be effective... Any thoughts?

Yep, I'm starting to see this as others have pointed it out aswell. Would something like Jump Boost I suffice? Or perhaps Speed II?

Speed 1 just isn't that great of a perk. The idea concept of wearing armor that's not as good but gives you different boosts is great but it needs more of an appeal as this kit is outclassed by other mobility kits

maybe every peice of armor has its own effect?
    Boots - Speed I
    Pants - Fire restistance
    Chest - Prot II
    Helmet - Anti-knockback?

then turn on only unbreaking I, So that the kit can mix armors.

Actually that's really cool because if you needed a certain ability at a certain time you can switch your regular iron peice for the Gold one. I'd use it

EX. You're getting chased, so you put on your speed boots to get away!

    Good idea!

I actually really like that idea aswell, @EminemsMafia.

It would make the kit a lot more practical and diverse because then you can interchange between abilities you want. Would they all mix together when they are on at the same time? And would they be overpowerful if all used together?

    Great thinking :grinning:
