2.0 suggestion regarding the new akimbo system in 1.9

    So as most of us know minecraft will be graced with the ability to hold an item in each hand in minecraft 1.9 (which will also come out #soon) so I thought that since now we can visually see a gun being held akimbo (this was already possible in coding) we could have the option to dual wield pistols or have an akimbo only special weapon in war 2.0.

    Yes! I love this. I would love to have an edition of akimbo/dual wield guns. Maybe even have a perk that makes any type of weapon akimbo (with the exception of weapons like iso/skully.

    2. It's unrealistic. You can't singlehandely weild what's considered a primary gun.

    I guess I meant for the smgs :/
    and maybe increase the accuracy if they are akimbo, but make it so you can't aim down sights/

    They better at least do this with the Typhoid, considering it's supposed to be the "Typhoid & Mary"

    This should be an idea strictly for pistols, and a few shotguns.

    Everyone's going to go to shoot both their primary and secondary at the same time.

    All you have to do is press "f" to akimbo your primary and secondary, nothing else required.

    That sounds like a good idea. After all, we don't know how the CoD server will function, so this could turn out to be balanced.

    Aikimbo guns are just okay, only good for trickshotting.

    How do you know it won't be blocked by some sort of plugin magic? It doesn't seem like it would be too hard to code taking the guns away and giving them back separate.

    WTF? Dual wielding typhoids and being unable to dual-w SMGs? That doesn't make sense. It should be possible only with pistols and SMGs, and i even have an idea for it that comes out of Crysis: if 2 guns are dual-wielded, left click will shoot one gun and right-click will shoot the other. Although... bukkit cannot recognise left click in full-auto unless you aim at a block, so maybe it could just double the fire rate of a gun and disable aiming :stuck_out_tongue:

    Typhoid is already supposed to be dual wielded, nothing else changes about them other than what it looks like you're holding.
