Why do you guys think brawl is going downhill?

probebly racist people and a kind of the new players who raging all the time (you know that im a old warz/war player) ^^ when oly when my yt chanel sometime got 3000 Subs i telle them mcbrawl ^^ acctually a german yt guy played mcparty but now he quit it cuz sone people weren't friendly and cuz he didn't got yt rank with 300'000 Subs ... thats prob why

It's the lack of updates. Brawl's biggest problem is how they handle updates. They hype up one big update that will revolutionize everything, where all of our problems, glitches, and lag will go away. As if it would be some sort of Utopia that is coming #soon. Our coders are biting off more than they can chew, they won't admit it but they are. They need to hire more coders, which is difficult, but possible. I know there are some staff learning to code, they could help in the future. They also need to start releasing content in small updates, more frequently. Hyping up huge updates and then not releasing them kills servers. See McWar for details on that.

Quite many and quite active.

 

Not quite enough then, the latest 10-12 hours i spent on brawl has been mod free, atleast on war.

Tbh, it's quite sad that someone does not want to play because the staff didn't put a couple of letters before his name, i hope he had a better reason to leave

 

War - What Herecreepers said, lack of 2.0, bugs + more
- Build maps NOT in the sky, as it makes players lag. 2.0 is probably in the biggest demand right now, and working on that would be amazing!
WarZ - Teams, hackers, ugly community etc.
- Teams usually don't loot. This means any tier 4 etc. should be made easier to find for newer players to have a better chance at playing. The community needs an improvement, so stricter punishment on rules broken?
Party - Repetitive
- Adding game-modes would increase players.
PvP - Laggy
- Not sure where the lag comes from, but fixing that will make players come back!
Minestrike - Lag, same thing over again
- Some new additions (maps) to minestrike would make for a better game.

I think it's to due to lack of coders/coding and updates that drives people away. It's what drives me away but I stay for the communities.

 

WE NEED TO FIX THE SERVERS WE HAVE AT THE MOMENT BEFORE ADDING NEW ONES THAT WILL JUST ADD TO THE MESS

 

I find it funny how people say there have been no big updates while the McPVP acquiration isn't even completed.

Lack of updates, repetitive boring servers, for warz it's only really fun with MVP or VIP unless your willing to run.

 

It's going downhill because everyone knows that soon means "this crap is going to take ages to update so you might as well move on in life because you'll be 36 years old with kids and a wife when Brawl actually releases it"

Well it starts with the community - it is made of:
1. 8-10 year olds who are annoying to everyone
2. 13 year olds with raging hormones who decide to play games in the most annoying and least skillful way and who would set fire to your router because you're better than them.
So it doesn't exactly provide a good reason for people to stay.
Also, there is a major lack of updates and lots of false hype with etas that keep on dragging on due to procrastinating devs. For example, you can't tell me that war 2.0 hasn't been going on for nearly two years and devs didn't have enough time to do it.
And since 99% of the old players (who made brawl golden) left, that leaves brawl with this.
And finally, the numbers have actually increased by a lot because of the mcpvp merge, and we still don't even compare to brawl before.
So this is why brawl is really going downhill.

It's not all brawl's fault. It's minecraft's. less accounts are being sold and more people are drifting away to the next big game. If they kept getting a constant new player base like when mc was popular brawl would be booming. I would be hesitant to blame it on brawl.

 

Why did mcpvp die? If you notice most servers are doing everything right, but the bigger servers have the youtubers attracting their player base. The big servers show slower decay, it's the medium servers that are getting hit the hardest right now.
