Brawl Junior Moderator Application: I'd like to thank everyone who's been pushing me at trying again for moderator.

Have you read over this thread? - Yes, I have indeed read over that thread. I also believe I fit all the criteria expected to become a junior moderator on Brawl's servers.

    What is your in-game name? - Ashlyn_MCR
Have you changed your name in the past? If you have, please list them. - I have changed my name four times. They are: _Ash_Lyn, AshlynPvP, Nxyy and my current name, Ashlyn_MCR. I'm planning on changing my name back to Nxyy as soon as possible.
Does anyone else have access to your Minecraft account? - No. No one has access to my Minecraft account.

How old are you? - 15, born on August 15, 1999.
What time zone are you in? - Mountain Time (MT)
Are you multilingual? Can you speak multiple languages? - Sadly, I'm not multilingual. I can only speak English.

What is your experience and knowledge of Minecraft? - To be honest, I actually found Brawl before I had even purchased Minecraft. Minecraft to me at the time was a silly game and a complete waste of my time. I didn't want to be known as an outcast in my school, for Minecraft was deemed "lame". But after several weeks of my brother begging and pleading and saying he'll do anything for me if I bought him a Minecraft account, I finally bought it. The reason why my brother wanted this Minecraft account so bad is because he found a site promising that this server had guns in Minecraft. I ended up tagging along with him, and I bought my own account and hopped on Brawl. With my brother trying out the new WarZ server, I got interested in party. At the time I still knew very little of minecraft, but after about three months I finally got the basics of party down. Then the survival server came along. I had to try it. When trying out this unique server, I learned what "vanilla Minecraft" really was. I was hooked and haven't left it ever since. Learning how to PvP, and meeting more friends than I can imagine, I started going from server to server finding out what Minecraft "mods" were and cool things you can do in Minecraft. I never completely left Brawl, even though it's been a very fun, but very hard 2 years, I'm still here today. While playing the survival server, I basically thought myself how to use Minecraft. To crafting items, to brewing them, I know it. I plan on continuing to play Minecraft for as long as I can, (Even if I'm considered an outcast) and try something new.
What is your experience with moderating servers, if any? - I have been mod and admin on many of my friends small servers. I haven't been a moderator on a large-scale server such as Brawl though. This doesn't phase me. I still think I can handle the moderator position even on a large-scale server such as Brawl. For proof I was once a moderator / admin, I have none. My computer has recently been through a factory reset and I lost all my old photos, files, etc. I'm sorry about that.
What will you provide to the community if you are provided moderator status? - If I get the moderator status, I'll provide a fun, safe and happy environment to be around in. I'll try my best to weed out the trolls, hackers, and the rule breakers and make the people who actually care for Brawl stay that much better. And hey, I may not be the biggest impact on Brawl, but I'll still try my best to leave a positive influence on Brawl (and to the people who make up Brawl) to the best of my abilities up until I leave Brawl and follow to where life takes me.

Have you ever used a hacked client before? - Nope. I have never used a hacked client. I have no intentions to download one either. Hacking is an unfair advantage and I don't play like that. Why play at all if you can't play fair?
Have you ever been banned on a Minecraft server? If so, why? - Yes I have indeed been banned off of another server. I also take complete responsibility on why I got banned and my immaturity about the situation. I was being stupid, and I clearly wasn't thinking because I started to flame at the head admin of the server I was playing on. This ended up getting me banned. For the thing that got me so mad to flame at him like I did, I don't remember. I wasn't happy about my ban, but that's also what got me to realize I was completely wrong in that situation. I haven't been banned off of another server since.

What do you consider your greatest strength? - My greatest strength would have to be the ability to see the good in people. I know people have had bad things happen in their past or they've done bad things in their life. I know there's a bad side, and trust me, I've seen it. I don't like seeing people do what I've done in my past. This is why I want to make a change, to help those who need it. I will help them to the best of my ability.
What do you consider your greatest weakness? - My greatest weakness would be trust issues. I don't give out my trust like it's nothing. If it's given, it should be kept. But, occasionally that trust is broken, and I'm the one who'll suffer from it. I'm that person who'll put distance between people if my trust is broken with a certain person. I've occasionally caught myself not talking to my friends who are friends with a person I've recently had problems with. I'm trying to fix this, but for right now, that's my weakness.

How active do you consider yourself on Brawl? - I consider myself fairly active on Brawl. I don't "no life" Brawl 24/7, but I'm on it most of the day when I have some free time.
Which Brawl servers are you most active on? - The servers I'm most active on is: Survival PvP and Ctf.
How many hours can you provide a day and during what time frame? - My time rates may be messed up around with new classes and whatnot, but mostly my schedule looks like this:
School schedule - I'm usually on in the mornings from 7:00 Am, to around 8:30 Am, before I leave for school. When getting home, I'm usually on from 5:30 Pm to around 10:00 Pm, (On weekdays) So around 6-7 hours. On weekends, it'll be most of the day unless I have something planned.
For Summer - Heck it's summer! Usually I'll be on for most of the day, unless I have something planned. You'll find me active between 11:00 Am, and 12:00 Pm. (Mostly)

What would you do if someone breaks a rule in-game? - For the following offenses I'll describe the situation on how I'd deal with a rule breaker:
    • Spamming / vulgar language / any chat offense - For a first offense, I'd let them by with a warning. I'd say something around the lines of "Please do not spam in chat." Or I'd state the rule they've broken. If this person continues spamming or breaking the same rule, I'll let them off with another warning and I'll let them know if they continue, a punishment will be assigned. So it'll look something like: "Please do not spam in chat. If you continue, you'll be muted." If the person still continues on spamming or breaking the rule, I'd assign a punishment, and let the person know why they were assigned the punishment.
    • Abusing glitches - If I catch someone abusing a glitch, I'd kindly ask them to stop, and I'd ask them how they found out about this glitch. If this person chooses to ignore me, and continues abusing the glitch, I'd kick them for abusing the glitch. If the person comes back and continues abusing this glitch, I'll kick them again with a time limit to when they can come back onto the server.
    • PvP logging / Combat logging - If a person were to PvP log, (which is a person disconnecting from the server then coming back onto the server to get back spawn protection) If it's their first time doing it, I'd ask them not to PvP log and warp to the /spawn the next time they need spawn protection. If I see a person PvP logging more than once, (with warnings enforced) I'd kick them with a time limit to when the person can return.
What would you do if someone breaks a rule on the forums? -
If someone were to break a rule on the forums I'd do the following:
    • 18+ material - If I were to see a thread with 18+ content, I'd automatically lock the thread and report it to higher staff.
    • Spam / vulgar language - If the thread has massive amounts of spam or vulgar language, I'd also lock the thread. If the spam is at a minimal, I'll kindly ask the people spamming to stop. If the vulgar language is at a minimal, I'd also kindly ask for that to stop too.
    • Off topic - If the thread is going off topic, I'd kindly warn the members of the thread to stay on topic. If the thread topic is completely lost, I'd lock the thread.
    • Question answered / resolved - If the question to the thread is resolved, I'd lock the thread, for the answer is solved.
    • Grave dig - when a thread is over 30+ days old, (and no one has commented on it since) if someone were to start posting on the thread again, I'd also lock the thread for grave dig.
    • Duplicate thread - If a duplicate thread is published, I'd give a link to the first thread created, and lock the duplicate.
    • Flaming - If flame were to occur on a thread, I'd kindly ask for the flaming to stop. If the flaming were to continue, I'd lock the thread for flame.
What would you do if someone breaks a rule on TS3? -
For the following situations, I'd do the following:
    • Mic spamming - If someone were to start mic spamming, for a first offense, I'd let them off with a warning. So I'd say something around the lines of: "please do not mic spam." If this person were to continue mic spamming, I'd kindly ask them to stop, and I'd also state that it's their last warning before a punishment is assigned. So I'd say something like: "please do not mic spam. If you continue, you will be muted." If the person continues on mic spamming, I'd mute them, and tell the person why they were muted.
    • Vulgar language / profanity - If someone is using vulgar language / profanity, I'll kindly ask them to stop. If they continue using vulgar language or profanity, I'll kindly ask them to stop, and warn them the next time they break the rule, they will be punished. If the person continues breaking the rule, I'd mute them for vulgar language and kick them from the Teamspeak for profanity.
    • Soundboard - If someone is playing a soundboard in a public channel, (that's not the music and recording channel) I'd first kindly ask them to stop playing music in a public channel and to go to the music and recording channel if they wish to play music. If this person Ignores me for a second time, I'd kindly ask them again to stop playing their music, and move them into the music and recording channel. If this person comes back and continues to play their soundboard, I'd mute this person. When I remove the mute rank and if they're still playing their music, I'd kick them from the server with a time limit to when they can return.

Situation (as a staff member): You log on Brawl, and you’re told that there is a huge, game-breaking economy glitch. No Admins are online to solve the situation. What steps would you take to handle the issue? - If a game changing economy glitch were to occur, I'd first calm everyone down. I'd answer any questions I can, and tell the people that I'm getting an admin on as soon a possible. I'd warn players not to use or abuse this glitch, or anything that involves this game breaking economy glitch. I will be in control of the situation, and I'll remain calm and relaxed and not stressed out. I will continue to moderate and answer questions until an admin gets online and fixes the problem.

How many Brawl staff applications have you made in the past? - This is currently my second application, so I've only submitted one.
What is the date of the last application you submitted? - May 17th, 2015.

Do you have a working microphone? - Yes I do. I currently have a Siberia V2 headset. That also has a working mic.
Are you able to record and upload videos? - I can record videos, But I don't have a Youtube to upload my videos. To make up for this though, I've signed up for brawl's slack program. (I will get a Youtube just for brawl related problems, if needed)

    Edit: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCVTkxVNfV6X0hgW6uB1Gpxw New Youtube channel.

Do you generally know how all the staff member commands work? - Yes! I know most commands. I know the commands to /mute and to /kick. If I have any problems with a certain command, I'll make sure to ask another moderator for help.

Anything else we should know about you? - There really isn't much for me to say at this point. But for the people who don't know me, I'm known as Ashlyn, Ashley, Ash, Nxyy, Nxylyn, Etc. As long as what you call me is similar to one of my names, I'm fine. I'm also a really active person! Some of my favorite hobbies are:
    • Helping at the local animal shelter,
    • Riding horses,
    • Helping train horses,
    • doing track / cross-country,
    • playing soccer and hockey.
    And that's about it.

    +1_MCR.
No question you're active, and dedicated to helping out Brawl. Would be nice seeing you on the staff team. Your application was very thought out and pleasant to read, and I noticed minimal grammatical/spelling errors throughout it.
    Good luck McNxlyn.

You are of course very active on Teamspeak and usually helpful, but I don't see you much ingame.
I still believe you could be a great JMod,

    Thank you striker!

    Thanks Brittan.

I can see where you're coming from. I usually don't see you when I'm online. I'll try and see if I can improve this a little more. But, the one thing I'm worried about is time differences. This may be the problem to why you usually don't see me that often.
    Thanks for the feedback Roke!
