Video Games Pokemon Games

Since I got perma banned I've had nothing to do but sit on CoD and FC4 all day. I've decided that I want to buy some retro Pokemon games for the GBA, specifically Ruby/Sapphire/Emerald and Fire Red/LeafGreen.

However, I don't know which game to get. I really want Fire Red, but I've played it before on PokeMMO and feel like if I buy it it won't be new for me. (I didn't get that far though, only beat 3 gyms and had a team of 3 :I)

But, Ruby/S/E are completely new to me. I don't even know what region the games are in, I just know the starters and the legendaries for R/S.

Also, I'm buying the games off of Lukie Games, where I bought my Crystal GBA for $29. I haven't played any games on it since I can't find my old ones.

So, I'm asking for you guys to tel me which game I should buy. AND DONT ANY OF YOU GIVE ME ANY SPOILERS BECAUSE EVEN THOUGH I LIKE SPOILERS I WANT TO FEE REWARDED WHEN SOMETHING HAPPENS IN THE GAME
