Revert the Name Change

    To be honest, keeping the name Hardcore Games is pointless. Lionsgate threatened McPvP, not us. We're free to use it unless Lionsgate threatens us to change it, which can be done again. I doubt Lionsgate will bother with Minecraft servers any more, especially one which is 15 times as small as McPvP was when it was threatened.

    I prefer the name "Hardcore Games" and since hunger is rarely a problem, it is more true to the game. However, its slightly more commonly searched on Google.

    I completely agree, I think the risk it good enough, I think I speak for all old McPvPers and to say bring the name back. We will have more players too. I think that with the proof he showed that the server can use the money to further upgrade the server.

    Yes please. Most new players think it's some form of UHC and aren't interested in that.

    2) Brawl is SO MUCH smaller than when mcpvp was threatened that Lionsgate won't care

    3) It will bring more players

    When I was looking for a Hunger games server I would never even give a second glance to a server called the "Hardcore games"

    I wouldn't mind seeing it back to Hunger Games how it used to be, but I'm not sure if we should go back to it, mainly because there are so many servers branded as Hunger Games across minecraft (I guess Hardcore Games is pretty generic as well..)

    Its more about what is searched the most, what did you search to find it? mcpvp last man standing? no... you searched hungergames. Like most of us did :grinning:

    Perhaps you guys are right, I'm just not sure if Brawl should really play around with Lionsgate even if Brawl is smaller..

    My opinion anyhow.

    I LOVE seeing this graph, it represents McPvP going down. Noone could find the server after the name change...
    Reverting it back would be very important IMO.

    It wasn't dead when they made us change the name, the first movie just came out I believe, if not that than the second one.

    No they are about to come out with the third one. Its just they ruined the survival of the fittest part of the series and turned it into another twilight, a choice between two guys... anyway... i do think name should be changed

    The third book has less drama than the second for sure, IDK about the movies, but the next one can't be all that bad.

    I think that his would be better for the servers overall, since most people would search "Hunger Games" anyway. It's just that it might be strange and a bit confusing (since there's a SG server) to change back after all of this time, and it might get cluttered in with all of the other Hunger Games servers there are out there.

    But I think it would help bring in more players.
