What needs to be done in HG (My opinion)

    I'm going to list a bunch of stuff that needs to be fixed before the full release of HG

    1. Get kNoHax2 to the servers

    2. Remove the annoying burp-sound when you eat a soup.

    3. Fix the render-distance so you only can see 3-5 chunks, that would remove much of the lag and make it more fair for people with low FPS. On McPvP it was like that.

    4. Move the servers to New York if possible, it's more fair for everyone.

    5. Make it so you can't see whenever a moderator joins, and so you cant see him/her in TAB.

    6. Re-add the pit.

    7. Create a sort of "team" of McPvP veterans that choose which kits that should be free and make it change every 2-4 weeks.

    8. Remove the lobby thing where you fight, and make a sort of spawn platform like it was in HG, but you can choose if you want PvP on or off for you, so you can go search for a swamp or something else.

    9. Remove the iron sword, cause it's always a hacker/farmer or PvP-Pro that gets it, you should just get a stone sword or something like that.

    10. Nerf the damage and crits to how they were on McPvP

    (1) We already got kNoHax1, V2 is not ready yet.
    (4) Canada or NY is not a real difference.
    (5) We plan to hide vanished staff members from tab.
    (7) The free kits will rotate and we will ask experienced HG players.
    (8) You can still explore the map through doing /spawn in the lobby

    I get around 200-250ms to Brawl right now, but when McPvP was hosted in NY i only got 150ms.

    I know you can explore the map, but the lobby is very laggy for many people, and it doesnt feel like real HG when it is there. Plus it would be more fun to pvp in the map that's gonna get used in the game, it would lower the lag too. They had it for a little bit on McPvP, and I think it was much more fun than it is now.

    I know towering is fun, but do you think it's better that the one with the most kills wins after 40 minutes? Nah, I dont think so, re-add pit, or make the games take as long as they need too

    1. It will be added really soon. It was implemented a little while ago but it was quite glitchy.
    2. I don't play with my sound on but I agree this could be really annoying.
    3. I don't think this is really necessary as you can just edit the chunk render distance yourself.
    4. Wouldn't really make much of a difference, the servers are already in Quebec.
    5. Planned to happen.
    6. I'd like to see this as well, the pit is better than the instant kill at 40 minutes which happens now.
    7. Already should happen in some way. McPvPers are going to suggest which kits should be in the rotations and that will be adapted to the current rotations.
    8. Do /spawn if you want to explore the map. I like the arena anyways as it's good to kill time.
    9. A stone sword would be pointless, but I'm not really sure what should be done about farmers.
    10. Agreed, viking with a stone axe and two shot people.

    I'll repeat something I've been saying since YAF. HG isn't a game where you cash in your kills at the end like credits for a win. It doesn't matter what you do you never "deserve" to win. Wins the smartest. If you get the most kills but you can't tower up with blocks around you and water proof all around a tower then...lol Do I have to say anything?

    I know, but it lowers the server lag, and the server doesnt need to work as hard, and I still want custom skies in resourcepacks, which you need 8 chunks or more to get it working

    1. Its being added anyways, don't worry.
    2. It should be toggleable. Even though its understandable why people'd dislike it, I actually like it.
    3. Before it was 7 chunks - otherwise it was too low and would take away aesthetically. Even so I'm not much of a fan of it - most of the HG lag is caused at the beginning.
    4. It'd cost a ton and wouldn't really make much of a difference.
    5. I think this should only apply to new players - otherwise I (and other regulars) couldn't /msg an invis mod saying that someone's hacking.
    6. I personally think that it should be changed so that there's map event-themed stuff. For example, lightning storms which set people on lightning to slowly start to kill people, or hurricanes that throw blocks around at people, burying them (for example). Much more fun than being teleported into a hole.
    7. I don't think it should be limited to veterans of McPvP, instead just active, experienced HG players, so Brawlers can have a say too.
    8. What's the difference with that and what's here already?
    9. Stone swords are easy to get. Without an incentive to do so, no-one will fight early game.
    10. I agree a lot with this. Crits are getting a bit too much right now.

    1. Yes, definitely.

    2. I hate that sound lol, please change, just for aural aesthetics.

    3. I am not a fan of this personally because I don't get client side lag in hg anyways, but it helps out a lot of people I am sure.

    4. Not helpful for the Euro's, if I am correct on where the servers are held.

    5. Well if they are invis, but yeah. And as a side, make it so staff can join started games.

    6. No...these games don't last enough.

    7. Not too bad of an idea, but maybe hg mods would do that.

    8. I like the arena, you can do /spawn in the pregame to get to the map anyways, and /arena to return.

    9. IMO the iron sword competition is a neat add-on.

    10. PvP is how PvP is, we shouldn't change it if we don't have to. That bug where people got hit twice instantly and died is gone (I think) and we should leave it how it is.

    None of these ideas are going to make HG significantly better.

    If you want HG to be more enjoyable then focus on making the entire gamemode fun again first.

    They should honestly revert HG back to how it used to be - this'll get a lot of old players to return, but more importantly a lot of old YouTubers to return. If rino or Stimpy return, a lot of their fans will too, and this'll boost player counts considerably.

    After this, they need to make changes that lack the favouritism McPvP had so that me or you have just as much say in upcoming features and changes as YouTubers and staff did. Changes were good, except we got the changes we didn't want.

    I don't think the old youtubers are ever coming back. Not as many people remember them and a lot of them moved on to college.

    Because HG is still new to this server I guess they can just play it out and see how things go but it isn't really in a desperate need for change..................................

    yet.

    Its new to this server, but not new to the older YouTubers.

    Also, not all YouTubers have completely moved on. Pretty sure Stimpy still plays, just not HG anymore.
