Enjoyable?

Those videos might get you some views and likes from the Mc-War community, but they're generic at best. So many people post those types of videos, it makes them kind of uninteresting to watch. If you want your channel to be more known and enjoyable to watch, make your videos stand out. Originality is key; aim for uniqueness. Take this as an example.

 

Yeah. Like @Striker_Nine said, my viewers for instance like my commentaries and also my Life Stories too. Just do something original, take some time editing, then BAM!

 

Step 1: Up the music. Don't play Krewella, Pegboard Nerds, Fractal, Nitro Fun or any of the super ultra generic big-name artists. People enjoy music that is atmospheric and fits the gameplay. I'd suggest artists such as MitiS, Au5, Muzzy/Feint/Twothirds, Fox Stevenson or artists who produce music that suits the stuff you see. This can be anything ranging from IDM down to video game music and Ambient. DnB, Electro and Drumstep suit this kind of stuff. I can help with the music, feel free to ask me.

Step 2: Add more color. Simply speaking, make a wider variety of videos, e.g. montages, commentaries and play other Brawl servers as well. Use different resource packs and combine some stuff up. Post stuff like Infected gameplay or OITC that actually is fun to watch. Or some kind weapon challenges and other stuff.

Step 3: Make longer videos. I know you have to render the footage for quite a while (I have a very similar computer, yet it takes me less than an hour to render 16 minutes of footage), and perhaps, check out some tutorials on how to increase the production speed of your videos. Perhaps, do dual/co-op commentaries (like Dwarfiest did) with different McWar or Brawl people. I know you can't really trust anybody, but on TS3 you can always make this kind of stuff happen. Show you are not afraid to become the next big Brawl YTer.

Step 4: Make the channel more attractive. Basically, put some effort into your videos and polish them up a bit, so that they don't seem too generic. Make an intro and an outro for your videos, with intro having some kind of music (and not too damn generic), and with outro having an annotation for the next video or a random video.

NOTE: Play MineStrike and organize some kind of matches.

Nice feedback. I am pondering creating videos and you gave me a lot of insight on how to create them. I really liked the idea about the dual/co-op commentaries (like Dwarfiest did) with different McWar or Brawl people.

You got me thinking about what people want to see and how to market it.

 

Dubstep is good, most of Monstercat isnt :v
