    (this kit is based on: Excallibur)

    Excallibur
    A random golden block can spawn anywhere on the map and when right-clicked the Excallibur can wield the powerful weapon it creates.

    How the kit works:
    Excallibur is a kit which must search for the gold block, which can be anywhere in the map, when right clicked by the Excallibur the player essentially "pulls the sword from the stone". The sword given is random and can have any random enchantment on it (within reason of course). The sword can only be wielded by the Excallibur and the gold block cannot be broken.

    Pros
    - Can potentially have the chance of getting a diamond sword early in the game
    - Chance of getting enchantments like fire-aspect or sharpness

    Cons
    - Might never find the gold block
    - Might get a useless weapon

    Starting Items
    No items.

    Cooldown
    No cooldown.


    if there are more than one excalliburs in the game, it doesn't matter which gold block you right click along as it is a gold block, if the player is not an excallibur it gives them the message "This block can only be touched by an Excallibur!" or something along the lines of "You are not worthy!"


    THIS IS A VERY, VERY ROUGH IDEA AND IS VERY TOUCHY
    PLEASE EXPAND ON IT IN THE COMMENTS AND TELL ME YOUR OPINIONS
    TO FURTHER DEVELOP THE IDEA :wink:

    Didn't like it, the gold block can be anywhere,and searching in a 500x500 area just for a diamond sword is not worth it,and you can get a useless weapon too :/

    Maybe you can have a "excallibur compass" that points to a 50x50 area where the block could be, and the reward from finding the block should be at least a iron sword,and if you are super lucky you get a diamond sword with enchantments.

    Doesn't sound like a bad idea at all actually, however do you think 50x50 would be a reasonable radius for it? Considering it does give you a good buff, would that be too easy to find?

    No, because if you go directly to this spot in the start of the game you will have no materials, what is a risk.
    If you go to that spot mid-game you will lose time,time that you could be getting iron or killing people.

    Are you saying 50x50 would be a good radius to search in or..?

    Do you think it would be perhaps too small? Like imagine if it were a plains biome, you'd be able to spot it easy in a 50x50.

    Questions:
    1. Only 1 gold block will spawn? If so, it's almost impossible to find it. If not, how often does 1 gold block spawn?
    2. How many weapons can you get from 1 gold block?
    3. Only limited to weapons? Armour? (I know this is going against the idea of Excallibur but I find only weapons too UP if there's only a few gold block)

    I'd say only 1 block but then build on the whole compass type idea that we discussed in the comments. Perhaps it should give you multiple weapons for teams? And perhaps armour could be included aswell, but we'd have to rename the kit :stuck_out_tongue:

    No, Excallibur sounds good even with armour. I'd say 1 block per 5/10 mins, and the compass tracks a rage of 100x100

    That sounds quite reasonable to me.
    That means 4 blocks per Excallibur a game, and it should only spawn 1 item per block.
    The block should give both armour/weapons in my opinion (even though I think the sword makes it cooler, but then you only need one..) It should give you anything from the iron/diamond/gold range with enchantments.

    Agree?

    Yep, except for giving gold stuff. I don't want a gold sword (unless its fire aspect)
    One question about the compass: How will it tell you you're within 100x100 blocks of it? Does it send something in the chat and lets you track it?

    A gold sword with good enchantments would be pretty good in my opinion :stuck_out_tongue:
    Perhaps it has a command like /gold (which works like /feast and makes your compass point towards the 100x100 are) OR you have a separate compass which constantly points towards your current gold block.

    /gold should be good, I don't want to mix up the gold compass and the regular compass. One day when HG is out of BETA im going to create a thread with all the kit ideas that sound interesting and hope that most of it is implemented. This is definetely there :grinning:

    Yeah, I thought /gold sounded like the better option myself.
    Ah! Well thanks for considering my idea to be apart of your list, it will be interesting seeing this list, they are always cool! :stuck_out_tongue:

    Would the gold block spawn in caves/underground? Also, if there were multiple Excalliburs in one game, would they have to go after the same gold block or would there be multiples just for them?

    It would be cool if it was something like Gambler in which you get full armor + plus a really good sword if you found it.

    ofc it's only limited to swords and armor. 2 mins in, does anyone really wanna go against someone with armor and an iron sword+ with possible enchantments?!

    so every 5 mins you have a chance to get full armor and eZ weapons? Gg gambler.

    it'd be cool if a block was named after the Excalibur like, (Turmac's Stone) or something like that.
