I'm not going to get into this too deeply, but suffice to say, sin only exists in the minds of the religious, just like the massive red dragon in my backyard who likes cheesecake only exists in mine.

You do not get to call people 'not true christians' for not following the bible the exact way you do, by the way. That's a logical fallacy called the 'no true scotsman' fallacy, and it fits the whole argument 'they're not following christianity', because the fact is, they are. They are using the bible, the same holy book you read, to condemn and declare that homosexuals are 'sinning' and use this to condemn their love as 'unnatural' and 'sinful', even though homosexuality is perfectly natural and has been observed in all sorts of animal species, and as I said before, sin does not exist outside of the minds of the religious.

Nah, I'm pretty sure I said what I meant. Christians, and they are Christians whether you like it or not, are using the writings in a book from 2000 years ago to declare that one type of love is inferior to another type of love because a loving and omnipotent god hates the sin he created in people he made because of a rule he invented. Sure, seems legit.

Let's get one thing straight. I am perfectly aware that christians are capable of accepting and even loving homosexuals. I'm even aware of a few christians who ARE gay. HOWEVER, there are LOTS of christians, many of them in positions of power within the united states government, who are using the bible to spread a message of hatred and 'immorality', whether other christians like it or not, they are part of the same religion you are, following the same god you are... and they've got the exact same holy book you do. You cannot deny this, you cannot say that they are not 'true christians', because I'm telling you, they are.

This might not make sense to you, or maybe it will, I'unno, but let's say for a second that I don't believe god exists, hell let's even say that due to a crippling lack of evidence beyond the writings of a manytimes over translated book from 2000 years ago, god may not even exist... all I'm seeing is a whole bunch of people saying that one type of love is inferior. You are included in this group, not because I'm generalizing, but because in your own words, a book from the past is more true and loving than real, tangible love in the present. Your argument is 'trust me, god's real, and he hates gays'. Yeah.

Hitler was a Christian, all his soldiers had 'god be with us' on his belts, he made many references to YahWeh during his speeches, and mein kampf makes many references to 'a heigher deity'. That argument is null and void, and has been for many a decade. Please don't try that again.

You really shouldn't hate on others opinions, It's theirs, and shouldn't effect you unless seriously bad. Which then the moderators or adminstrators should deal with it
