Kicking Afk People

People use to be kicked if they didn't move in the old days. Now a days, loosing all your KDR and getting a million deaths is punishment enough :3

 

We all like killing players without them noticing it until they get back onto their keyboard.

 

I agree with you that players should NOT be afk. It takes up a spot that an actual useful player could have, your team gets killed x2 faster, so you can never win a match, and they are frankly just in the way. I agree 100% with the fact that they should be kicked. Should have added a poll, cause you would have gotten my (+1)

 

They benefit you by helping you get nukes, EMPs, kills, just about anything involving kills.

 

I can see how they boost the OTHER team. But what if your team is the one with 3-4 AFK players? Then the other team gets the nukes/EMPs, ect. Just doesn't seem fair overall. Just my opinion though

 

I consider AFK a players a form of "boosting" since you are able to farm XP, get free kills, boost your KDR, get easy nukes and EMPs. I am in high agreement with your idea Jared.

I don't know how I would feel about nuking with free "boosted" kills.

Also, it is better for them to just get a kick with a reminder saying "Idle for 5 minutes" or something like that. Because if I were an AFK player, I would rather be kicked than get a murdered KDR and a whole lot of deaths. That being that I don't want to end up raging and giving a large amount of hate towards the server for one little thing.

So I should be punished for let's say, leaving my computer for a quick lunch? No. That's ridiculous. They should add an idle system where you get kicked after 5 minutes of inactivity.

 

Seems like a legitimate punishment.

 

They should put this back in, because if someone leaves and forgets to log off their kdr gets murdered.

 

One does not simple "Forget" about Minecraft.

 

Happened to me once. Luckily it was only for 15 minutes. Had to get off really fast, and I thought I would be right back..... KDR didn't get killed though. So it wasn't that bad But I still think they should implement the idle afk kick like in the default essentials plugin. Sounds like a good idea.

 

I agree with you, it is a good idea.
