Plus, if EVERYONE has WorldEdit (everyone does in mcbuild) A bunch of mean craps might team up to set as many region points and //replace, //sphere, and //set, etc, they would be making the server crash over and over. Creative requires you to have a certain rank to use worldedit and you can get demoted for abusing it, so people know if they team up to crash the server they'll get punished.

You don't see it, do you? The whole reason why MCPvP'ers want the merge is because it's their server and they're just happy they're getting it back. If you think about it, if Build was to disappear just like what's going to happen to Creative, MCPvP'ers would probably be sad too because it's a server that they've been playing on since like forever. The people who want Creative to stay is because it's our server and we've been playing on it for a long time. Why can't we have both servers so we can all be happy? If Creative stays and Build stays as well, it won't hurt anyone. You can choose to play on whatever the server you like whether it's Creative or Build. The merge isn't even a merge, it's more like a replacement.

Maybe it's because everyones current builds are on creative and not because it's better! MCBUILD doesn't yet have it's skeleton yet either.

 

Guys we have to do this! I won't be on brawl at all anymore if there is a merge so we have to vote no merge!

 

Why? Because, creative is a classic for Minecraft and most servers have it...But I am unhappy about the merge because we will loose our buildings and some of them (From people that I have talked to) are quite old and have memories behind them.

 

Oh I do understand why you're sad I really do. You're very use to Creative, but you are only sad because it's going to be different. Pretty much everything you can do on creative can be done on Build so there is no point it keeping both servers as that just costs extra money

The way the chat and the plot systems work on creative is the reason why Brawl's creative server is likeable. Unlike other typical creative servers, Brawl has a very simple Creative server. Build is alright, it's a great server that allows all players to use world edit, and you also get a world of your own. It's nice and all, but it can get boring after a while because of the confusion of the systems on Build that Brawl's Creative players aren't used to. Sure, we can learn them and get used to them, but even the minor differences between Build and Creative are the reason why some people choose Creative over Build. We don't want the "merge" replacement.

 

If it's only a matter of getting used to MINOR changes then it doesn't sound that bad?

 

I am titled to my own opinion, I do understand that,but I don't understand why they want to merge.I think that Creative should stay Creative and Build should stay Build.

You will be able to keep your builds.

Build offers everything Creative does, but without the time consuming process of the rank system. Again, even though it might take a bit longer with restrictions in place to reduce lag, but you can Build much easier without a bumpy lag-filled experience. Yet again, I see no reason not to merge. If someone provides a valid, compelling argument, I will change my vote.

Build's systems are not complicated at all compared to Brawl's rank system, don't see your point there.

And also, I'm not supporting the merge just because I'm from MCPVP. I have played and built on both. Build is much easier for newer players. It's pretty much the same thing for experienced Creative players. I'm supporting the merge because it's better for Brawl.

 

You can try to say the merge won't be bad all you want but either way, if the merge does happen, I will leave with

because it will just prove that the staff wants less players.
