    I know that MC-War is largely based off of the Call of Duty series. And for those of you who don't know, CoD is the overall theme of this server, it's not supposed to be exactly like CoD itself.

    I am proposing that MC-War takes a few things that are not from CoD. Such as large...large maps. Vehicles, like tanks, planes, army carts (I don't know the name for those) etc.

    My point is that sometimes it does get a tad bit repetitive playing the same thing over and over again. I want to play maps based off of World War I, II, the Civil War. I want a Battlefield combat atmosphere mixed into the rush of CoD. Do you get my drift? Also, some people make extraordinarily good maps and are denied to the fact that this server's theme is CoD. Some people also have great ideas that are sometimes criticized on because this is a CoD based server.

    Maybe even some old guns they used in real wars (semi-auto rifles etc.).

    So think about it. Should MC-War stick to it's popular CoD theme or be different and take other paths to other great things that will make the server even better than what it is right now.

    Honestly, I love this. You making the suggestion of Civil War themed maps is something I never thought of and is damned brilliant. For most of us (And I use the word MOST loosely) we're past the eighth grade, so implementing historical maps, such as Civil War themed ones, would make them that much more fun, as we have the backround knowledge of that. Apart from the CoD theme, I would love to see Fallout maps, radiated areas for infect such as the metro system in F3, The Citadel, The Strip itself, etc.

    As you said, they do get quite repetitive, and I've memorized most of the maps. Adding in new maps not from CoD, would be something refreshing and new to the server, appealing to a larger crowd of players and giving the maps more diversity. It's similar to the WarZ problem with maps, after some time you really just get bored of it and know all the spots, and just want something new.

    I'm 100% for this idea.

    I would love to see mc-war branch off into things from other games. I especially would love it if they added historical battle maps. They really need to add maps from past historical battles. I could just see my self fighting on a battle of gettysburg map.

    I'm glad you guys like this. I am also past 8th grad (9th) and I enjoyed my US history lessons taught to me this year and last year. And to make somewhat a connection of MC-War to real life events would be kinda cool. Like Assassin's Creed 3 for example.

    I wasn't really going along to that thread. Actually, I didn't even know it was there lol. But it gets kind of tiring playing the same CoD themed map using the same CoD themed weapons. I'm not saying they have no similarities with each other, but I just wanted to expand away from CoD.

    Agreed. I don't see why we can't have awesome airship maps or amazing maps like Pearl Harbor. In fact, one of my map submissions labeled Medieval map was thought to be a WarZ map instead of a mc-war map.

    I for one, love this.
    The server can get a little repetitive after an hour or so. This could add a lot more variety than people think.

    I agree, the only thing I don't think should change is the guns. Use only guns from CoD

    I'm gonna attempt to work on a BF2 map.... even though the game is old, it's still pretty awesome. Besides, BF would be cool in MC-War.
