Idea Anti xray plugin.

Well this could be spam, but not too much...

What if there was a chat like team chat to look at people finding diamonds.

 

Umm I think the X-ray protection we have now is fine. I don't need to be spammed with "bassmaster6 found 200 diamond blocks during op raid!"

 

Not trying to advertise here but Mineplex has an anti-xray system that shows you fake blocks. Once it tracks a player movig in a suspicious pattern (example: directly towards the fake blocks), the blocks disappear.

Its a really good system imo. However they troll people with it because I used xray a while back on there and theres pretty much diamonds every 20 blocks.

I don't anymore. This was in mid 2014.

I can see this working. Maybe you can add in gold as well or something. Plus, it can be that only J.Mods+ can see these messages, so @TheSinisterOne you won't be "spammed". You can also find out if someone's x-raying with this because for Example:

2:03 Pm - Player Nxy has found 5 diamonds
2:05 Pm - Player Nxy has found 8 diamonds
2:09 Pm - Player Nxy has found 3 diamonds

I'd think you'd notice if someone's finding diamonds at a rapid pace.

Only mining bass. Plus, it's a good idea, if it doesn't work out, you could always just delete it

 

I was joking... And why fix something that's already fixed? You can't X-ray diamonds right now.

 

most people dont care if diamonds are xrayed. Its the bases being xrayed when they "adjusted" the anti xray that annoyed me

 

This, most people don't use x-Ray to find diamonds anymore, they use it to find bases...

 

By default spigot has an anti-xray feature, although Brawl (I believe) uses a modified version known as JoeCraft.

 

Brawl is more than able to rent servers that can capacitate for such activity.

 

Spawn was broken that is why the server was stopped not because of the anti xray

 

I like this idea, but as stated more people use it to raid bases. Although this would also be useful, maybe the chat should be only visible to moderators? I'm guessing some people don't want other people to know what they have.

 

Better Server = less lag = happy players = more players = more players buying ranks = happy owner

 

This might help against players using xray to get diamonds, but players using XRay to find bases are way more dangerous and annoying than those looking for diamonds.
I disagree with your suggestion because it would help against diamond xrayers, but you suggest that we take out the current Anti XRay plugin fully, means players using XRay carefully could find bases easily.

 

Which most XRay Modifications can not see through. Even if it doesn't work, replacing it with a plugin that doesn't protect bases from being XRayed as well isn't the solution.
