Ninja nerf

    As many of you guys know, Ninja was intended to be a chasing kit. But if you can shift every 10 seconds, it becomes an anti-combo, anti-trap, anti-team especially in no soup, anti-anything kit. I suggest that you can teleport if you hit somebody within the last 10 seconds, and if you haven't been hit by a player within the last 5 seconds. It's still a chasing kit, but not anti-everything

    I think it's fine, shifting slows you down if you don't to, you can also get hit from tping and not hard to counter

    No. I am against every nerf, because I think that we should buff all the bad kits and not nerf the few good kits. It would balance the game more and it makes more fun to play a game with more good kits, than a game were kits don't matter, because every kit is bad.

    Personally I agree with the above, keep Ninja how it is. I personally don't find anything too powerful about it, and it adds more of a dynamic to the gameplay. That's my opinion anyway.

    "Don't find anything too powerful" Ninja is the most OP kit ever, it's anti-run, anti-trap, anti-combo, anti-team...

    Being completely honest I don't ever recall dying to a Ninja. Perhaps I just haven't ran into any good ones.

    Well most of the Ninjas I fought didn't shift until they were in a combo, then they shifted and starting comboing coz they teleport just behind you. When I played Ninja I got out of a lot of traps. That's why I don't play Ninja anymore, it's unfair for everyone else

    It's a good idea, but the kit just doesn't need a nerf, rather the bad kits (santa, super, etc) need a buff. :smile:

    Yeah, I like where this is coming from.

    Perhaps, is it really that much of an advantage in no-soup though?

    I play with it as a team all the time and I don't think i'm op, i kill like 3 or 4 people max. I might just suck but you have to hit the guy first

    Nope, you teleport directly to them.
    Umm no, if you are way better at pvp, you win. If you have a kit that does damage you can win. If you are endermage you can mage in to a tree, get invincible, repeat. The mistake you make when the ninja hits you, is that you run. You must fight if ninja gets a hit on you. (Or jump over a ravine, that was fun!) On the anti-trap tho, if you are against a endermage-hulk suffofaction trap where you suffocate in a end portal frame, (aka endermage portal) ninja is one of the few kits that can escape (Checkpoint, blink, ninja). Should it not be, and make the trap even better? No.

    And it should not? Teams are a problem when you are playing solo yourself, should we not be able to take out teams?

    I'm fine with anti-trap, being a chasing kit, anti-team. But its way too OP in no soup especially if the person is a veteran, and new players may quit coz they can't play soup, and if they die straight away in no soup, they won't like the game.

    OMG YES ADD THIS. Ninja is so annoying right now, you start to combo one and then next thing you know they tp and are half glitched in the ground while critting you. This nerf allows the kit to do what was originally intended. +1

    I'm usually against kit nerfs but this kit is Anti-fun

    Honestly, I like ninja just fine and don't think there should be any changes, Ninja is a pretty good hunting kit, and I dont see any reason why it should be nerfed.

    I don't see how it is OP, they just teleport to you if they have hit you in the last 10 seconds. So most likely at the furthest they would be about 50-70 blocks away. I think it is good how it is IMO.

    Personally, I can't soup well. I kinda forgot how. But I try to be creative and find other ways to win the game than straight up having a fighter kit, a good clickspeed and know how to soup well. Wonder why I did not quit mcpvp even when I encountered some "OP" kits? My friends played it. That motivated me to try. So if I had encountered a ninja back then, no big deal.

    "new players may quit". Define "new player". Do you include a guy/girl that is playing a first hg ever, die in the beginning and quit? If so, ninja can cause a new player to quit. So can Achilles, Acrobat, Adventurer, Anchor, Assassin, Beastmaster, Boxer... the list goes on, including the mysterious kit NONE. My point being, anything can cause a new player to not play anymore. But if they have friends with them who teach him/her how to play, he won't quit. Well, he/she could, but it's less likely.

    Tell me, how did you find hg and why did you keep playing it? I would love to hear it!

    I never played HG with friends on a regular basis that kind of negates your point

    I'm sure no one has quit because of acrobat or any of the kits you listed for that matter
