    I just looked at Chap's post about their plans for the near future and now I am very sad. I love WarZ because it's WarZ. Nothing else is like it. There's no way to describe how fun WarZ is, but if I had to say what I love the most about it is that the map is relatively small, it is not based off actual DayZ, which is a perk in my opinion, and the guns are nice and simple. But now I'm afraid it will become like all the other DayZ servers, underplayed, somewhat creepy, overly complicated and too realistic. I am probably the only one that feels this way. I know that they will keep the legacy server but it just won't be the same

    @JeepBMWJeep I do agree with you but i also do like the idea that you will be able to create a base and ride in a car as well as looting but I do hope that they will add like new guns and stuff like that.

    I sort of have the feeling that both WarZ 2.0 and war 2.0 will be somewhat of a disappointment. I don't know why, But I just have that feeling.

    Well, until you play it, you can't really form much of an opinion on it. For now you have WarZ and if you love that, play that. When 2.0 comes around, play that and you'll get used to it even if you don't like it. But you have no idea what it could be like - you never know, it could be even better than the current WarZ.

    #soon is not even funny. Its just a overused joke now...

    I dont know if it will be good or bad. If done right it could be one of the best DayZ servers out there. If done wrong it will be like every other server.

    Also if the dont keep the current warz or remove combos in the current warz they will lost about 200 players, me included.

    There will be WarZ 2.0, and then the legacy server, which will remain the current WarZ.

    I can't make an opinion on the new unreleased servers, but I have a feeling it is going to be fun to play if there is a stable playerbase.

    The new servers will definitely kill warz and war. Receiving so much attention from the developers and the community warz and war will mostly be composed of veteran players who stick around until the very end. It may not happen right away but it will happen if these servers are released.

    The most we can do now is enjoy the time we have left and hope the infamous #soon stays that way.

    There will be legacy servers. And also how do you know that WarZ 2.0 will be bad? You haven't even tried it.

    But the problem is see is that WarZ has less and less players now and when 2.0 comes there may not be any good fights on WarZ anymore.

    These threads are pointless, there will be the legacy servers that will have the regular player base (minus a few players that are switching over) and the new "DayZ" server will attract a new player base that may help Brawl's community and they may eventually switch over to the Legacy server, so don't fret almost nothing will change.

    You guys have to realize that the base code and game mechanics of WarZ have stayed the same since developed in 2012.

    WarZ 2.0 will be different surely, but it will be MUCH better. The coding of the current WarZ and War is dated, with old and new mechanics put into the new WarZ and War, I promise it will be good.

    I completely agree with this and just to add if you don't like WarZ 2.0 and you don't want to play it you don't have to! The current WarZ will be added to the legacy servers so will still be playable. :smile:
