So after 2 1/2 years of mc war and finally being able to play cod extensively, I got some criticism. This is just my opinion and some obvious statements. Don't get me wrong, I find mc war fun.

    Prestige guns:
    Negative
: First of all, CoD does not have pack-a-punched weapons in multiplayer. It does not fit at all. Ex: Disassembler: A pack-a-punched Dragunov. Problems: Its not in multiplayer, mag size is 10; not 30. I get it, mc brawl staff wants players to get incentives. but pack-a-punched weapons, seriously. That is not even in CoD mp.

Positive: It gives mc brawl a fun twist to the CoD in mc experience.

    Perks:
I get it, mc brawl needs donations to keep the server up, but in order to get perks by donating is not the best idea. Not all can donate due to financial issues or strict parents.

    Credits:
    negative
: CoD does not have credits, its an xp based system to get guns. Depending on the CoD there is no credits system except for BO1. So are you really going to use the gun purchasing system from one CoD game when all but one game up from CoD 4 is an xp based gun acquisition. Really, the most common sense way is to use the system of gun acquisition that 90% of the coD games use. But grenades, I can see why, but in CoD, you by default have one frag grenade and x amount of special grenades.
Solution: Just give the default system one frag and one special grenade. doanations will give u more. Simple.

positive: Makes you manage credits and you spend wisely hopefully. This is unique to mc brawl which is pretty cool.

    Clans:
    Positive:
Very fun and lets you play with friends.
Negative: Problem, too many clan members on one team sometimes.

    Maps:

Positive: I really like some of the community builds. It showcases awesome building skills. The maps are fun, yet challenging to make and when you finish you are proud. If you map is accepted, you are excited. some map remakes like Strike zone, Stormfront, Bayview, Castleshurri, WMD, Aftermath, Carrier, etc... are really well done.

Negative: Some map remakes are just plain garbage and lack detail. Example, Dome World at War. It was not really the best work to start off with even though blocks were limited when it was made. Another example: Scrapyard, a really crappy remake. Yet Another example: Countdown, a really crappy remake that is not really that great compared to the actual map. Too crowded. The actual map was more open, unlike the mc war version. Outside of the map detail terrible.
Solution: All under detailed maps should be revamped or removed. With all these new blocks to use and the greater proportion sizing via mc edit and spritecraft, the maps can be much better.

    Conclusion:
Though mc war really isn't that all close to CoD, its potential in mc war 2.0 is unknown, but if some of these basic CoD multiplayer issues are really not fixed like the pack-a-punched weapons in multiplayer, then it really is not the closest CoD experience in minecraft. I would rate this recreation of CoD in minecraft as a 7.3/10. There is more room for improvement to be more like cod.

See you all on the battlefield!

You know they aren't going to change anything with the server.

I know. Maybe they will for future updates after mc war 2.0 comes out.

    Jeez.
If you don't like some of the current maps, you should have seen the old standoff.

What was the old stand off? I am not sure. I know of the current standoff, but was there an old one?

    Nice thread.

I think you make some valid points and I think Brawl is low on the priority work or all the recommendations for change might have been updated already.

Honestly, no one has transparency into what is going on behind the scenes at the coder level.

I know coding is not easy, especially with doing many severs and balancing school. These are just some possible ideas to make mc war like cod, they don't have to be added though it would be nice.
