Best free recording software?

    For a recording software, i currently use OBS, which is a decent free screen recorder. However, it is very cpu dependent, and since my computer isn't that great, I can barely record low quality 720p with 60 fps in-game. So do you guys know any FREE recording software? (preferably with no watermarks)

    For mac if your com isn't a potato it's fine to use QuickTime player

    I use windows... so yeah

    not really for me... I get ~200 fps without recording, like 50 when I am and I get a ton of random lagspikes as well

    I don't even get 50 fps when I'm not recording. Just deal with the lower FPS. I'd recommend to play with your settings if you can't get a new recording software. For example, turn some animations and clouds off, and change your max fps.

    Fraps if you can get the full version is really good, it's just that file sizes can be big. It's what I use to record hackers and make short videos.

    If you download thew new windows version http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows10 <-- there, you can recording using widows itself. Once you have that, open minecraft and press Windows+G. When a box pops up you can choose your settings. Windows + Alt + R is the default keybind to start recording. It does not effect your fps a lot, is free and does not even require a download.
