I recommend staying in a spot where you have a clear shot, and the opponent does not. (e.g. the balcony on summit) camp there with a sniper/auto, and don't take any risks

 

Camp, camp, camp, camp and camp.

 

Recommend purchasing the perk "Scavenger" Here
Scavenger will give you 1/4 ammo back from the guns total ammo capacity every kill.
If you do not want to buy the perk i suggest using isolator or model since they have high ammo.
In general you want to stay back and get kills for under cover, only pushing when your team pushes and play safe.
Do not worry if it takes 25 seconds for a kill this is all about patients and setting up for monster kills.

 

Then that opens up to using more weapons and more strategies you can apply since you have no concern for ammo.
I suggest using automatics if you are not that "good" with snipers.
Lamentation is a good choice, m4a1 is also good, and if you want a shotgun typhoid is the way to go.



For snipers;
Isolator is great for its accuracy and power.
Disassembler is great for clusters of enemies.
L118 is powerful and easy to use.

I don't really camp. I rush in with my Iso or L118a. I don't just stand there, I'm quick and constantly move around nonstop. This way you can dodge bullets. This is only because I'm too impatient for camping. Unless you have a good camping spot (E.G. The ditch on the far right of Red Team's spawn in D-Day) it could take a while.

 

Camping is the absolute best way to get a nuke. You never see someone rushing into the enemies base and just spraying away get a nuke. It takes strategy, patients, and skill If you have those three qualities (With the help of an Iso ofc), then you should be good to go.


EDIT: I posted mine directly after you posted yours lol. Guess some people find it easier to keep moving, as it does keep you out of the enemies fire.
