A rant

I think that there should be an open alpha of war 2.0 availible FROM NOW (regardless of its probable extreme bugginess, all the glitches and code artifacts), the community should be able to see what is going on in the server.

 

Does 2.0 even exist? No one knows

 

I really wish they had that, but I do not even think they are working on war 2.0 atm.

 

There was a test version for 2.0 . However, that version got deleted due to it having the old guns plug-in orange had.

 

I think that that would only make the community rant more about it being not done and about all the glitches that are yet to be fixed. I honestly wouldn't blame the coders if they just get fed up with these rants and quit too. So that's why I want you all to ask to just be patient. I know that they have failed to make it come out at multiple deadlines but we just have to believe that it's because of how hard they're working on it being as perfect as possible.
We have to forgive and put trust in out coders. Being nice to someone will most likely get him/her to work harder than to be a b!tch about it and choose to disbelieve.

Having this said, I also want to say that most of the things that have been said in this thread are sadly, indeed true. But we need to believe.

We need a mod or an SMOD that has the balls to tell the admins they need to do this us as players are not much more than ranters. If an SMOD stood up and said things need to be done then the admins would realize so far all the mods are 'the admins or busy making a new server, stop pestering them'

 

This would probably count as disrespect and there would be a high chance of that person getting demoted.

 

They'd get respect from the community and in my opinion thats worth more. Mods are to serve not to give foot massages to the admins

 

If the admins demote a mod just for that reason, it will cause a flood of outrage both for all mods and players.

EDIT/OFF-TOPIC: This rant thread has had more agree ratings than any other thread THIS ENTIRE YEAR (In the war section atleast). So I can conclude: Gynamo has a lot of ratings to be happy about; The war community is starting to reach its limit.

 

And you think the staff will care the slightest about a little rage? I say naww c;

 

Think about it. We, the players, are the reason that brawl is still alive. without us, the servers would die fast. If the brawl admins make a move so outrageous that it will make people leave, they will regret it.

Let's go back on the topic at hand now.

 

The thing that pissed me off the most was the hype dates for 2.0 I remember summer 2013, where they said it would be released in like september i think. Then they said they had some problems so it became at christmas. Nothing happened and then a little under one year later in october 2014 Brittain (i think) Said that 2.0 would come in January. It never came. Then after that they said july or june im pretty sure. And nothing has happened. Just dont give a release date, and show us so PROOF screenshots, videos testing out the new server, ANYTHING really just from the new server. We have seen NOTHING at all.

 

It's absolutely AMAZING how none of the Admins give a flying french fry about the community's ideas. Oh, look, this is a great idea! We aren't going to implement it because we're sore losers.

Putty is not giving any information. A group of terrorists are threathening to destroy every major city if he doesn't give any information.

july 29th 2099

Putty has still not given any information. nuclear fallout has started due to the wait time for 2.0 .

Hopefully War 2.0. will fix the pay 2 win aspect of the game. As for everything else, it's not small issue. If nothing else, I hope this gives the coders reason to release 2.0. and work to fix the bugs first before moving on to try to release another server quickly like MOBA or something.
