How To: Banners

Hello everyone! Don't you think that banners would be the perfect decoration piece, if they had more designs/patterns added to them. Well, I'm going to teach you a very simple trick to make banners look much more appealing to the eye than they already are. Banners may look very plain/bland, but you can easily make them look so much more interesting if you follow these instructions. I will be showing how to make 2 different designs, gradient and a flower-type object. There are many more patterns and designs to put on banners so I will be sharing a link with you all in the last paragraph. My apologies if you all already knew how to do this, but I'm sure some people will benefit from this.

Gradient Pattern

Start off by placing a crafting table. Next, choose any colored banner you would like and choose any colored dye as a secondary color to go with it. You will need 4 of the dye. I will be using a white banner and cyan dye for this instance. Put the banner on the top middle square, and the 4 dye go in the top left, top right, very middle, and bottom middle squares. If that was hard to understand (it probably was), then check the picture below:

Voila! You can put this as a decoration on almost any build, and it's so simple to make!

Flower Design

Once again, start by placing a crafting table. Other than the crafting table, you will need a banner of any color, an oxeye daisy flower, and a dye of an color. Put the banner in the very middle square, the oxeye daisy flower in the bottom middle square, and the dye in the right middle square. Just as the example above did, I will be using a white banner and cyan dye. Here is what it should look like in your crafting table:
