    Having girlfriends in middle/high school is such a pain, they require so much attention and eventually 90% of the time, the relationship is going to break down. I recommend just staying on the "friend" level. No strings attached, nothing too personal. Just keep cool, lie low, don't do cringy things, and make honest friends. I see people in my school hallway kissing and hugging each other, and it looks gross. I'm a do-or-die guy, if I was going out with a girl, I'd do it with the serious intention of eventually marrying her. However, I don't plan to do something like that in my life, because it's cool to stay single (as many people tell me). So save yourself the grief and restrain your desires.
