This is the sad thing that happens when they fix glitches that make people enjoy the server more.

Yeah I'd like to get an official explanation for this as well. I've been told by certain staff that this was already meant to be implemented on MCPVP and that other staff may disagree with it.

What is the motivation for this, and what other purpose is there to prevent more than one map creation besides profit?

 

I think it's one way to keep mcpvp from dying. Just one way to earn more cash

It's just another way to make money, sorry we wanted it on mcpvp but there were "better ways of making money" apparently lol

 

Build would make no money if it didn't have this. This is just a way for it to support itself.

 

So I have to buy a subscription to a rank in order to build more than one map? That doesn't sound right. If extra maps were sold for $2 a piece or something like that then I'd have no problem. But I'm not getting VIP just so I can have more maps.

Does build really need to bring in revenue? Creative doesn't.

 

Well, Creative is being replaced. I think extra maps would be a good idea, I never said they weren't.

 

The infinite maps on MCPVP was a glitch. As for this, 1 map is a huge amount of space for just messing around. If you plan to actually make an official map that will be used, you can probably PM an admin and they will give you one.

 

Well, it was always supposed to be like that, ever since McBuild became a public server.

Normal player = 1 map
VIP = 2 maps
MVP = 5 maps
PRO/ELITE = 10 maps

Unfortunatlly, did the /create command glitch on the old McBuild and McPvP didn't have enough time nor coders to fix the issue, which allowed a lot of abusers to create tons of maps.

Some players still own 100+ empty maps, but you will have to stick to only one map.
Once you built a map for a gamemode, which got accepted you will get a new empty map.
Because that's what McBuild is supposed to be, a buildserver where you can build maps for gamemodes.

But, I somehow like the idea of selling maps for $2.
