War issues

Look at gynamos rant. It discusses almost every issue with war/brawl that we've had in the last few months.

 

Honestly, no one seems to have a clue as to what is going on old friend. The Mods really don't know and we (the customers) have little transparency into the state of things behind the scenes.

Hopefully, threads like yours are read by the admins. That's the only way things will change.

 

Who's going to start a thread on things that need fixing so things get done @Gynamo (Leader of the Rebellion)

 

You guys can post the official thread here so that way it corresponds with the appropriate section it's in.

 

Again a post about the war issues, yet no fixes.

Myort isn't the only coder ._. , by looking at it you could just see what it does... the code is all the same it's just that the syntax is different...

IDK, no one really knows anyways, I did suggest a Development Twitter, but lately I've seen lots of Development Logs. The updates are coming out more than usual, not saying it comes out a lot but just... more than usual...

 

You need a basic understanding of Java before you start doing Bukkit API. All Bukkit API is, is just plugging in Minecraft stuff with Java. There are many ways to learn Bukkit, by the original Docs, Videos, Bukkit Forums, and really... the whole internet. Sure people write code different ways... but there's really that one method that dominates all... such as

^^ That above is what some people use... but the following code is the most overused meaning the most reliable way to do it.

        Player p = (Player) sender;

These both do the same things, if you look at them closely... you could probably see what they both do and why they both do the same thing.

I just wanted to put that out, sorry if that applied for showing off. But to make it clear, Myort probably didn't do it for that reason, if he did then... wat rlly m8? The reason is probably because the whole project was huge and he didn't really know all the variables and things... IDEK kthxbai.
