For the love of all that's good, HELP ME!

I tried downloading a program ("free" recording software... rookie mistake), I did all the right things, I unchecked all of the boxes that said "download free malware!". I had a bad feeling but thought i would be safe if I unchecked everything.

THERE'S NOW A BUNCH OF MALWARE PROGRAMS LAGGING MY COMPUTER! I go to uninstall/change programs, some of the programs uninstall but the other ones take you to some bull**** wizard setup and require you to press "next" a million times (I unchecked all the boxes at each "next", keeping it checked downloads MORE viruses to your computer).

IT INSTALLED MORE VIRUSES ANYWAYS. EVERYTHING I TRY TO DO OPENS UP A PROGRAM, EVERY BUTTON I CLICK REDIRECTS TO SOME WEBPAGE SAYING MY COMPUTER IS UNSAFE.

    WHAT DO?!
HOW DO I UNINSTALL WITHOUT WIZARD BS?!

edit: nvm i think i fixed :grinning:

EDIT: I WAS WRONG, DEAD WRONG.
IT'S AUTOMATICALLY DOWNLOADING VIRUSES INTO MY COMPUTER WHEN I HAVE UNINSTALLED EVERYTHING

edit 3: Don't worry guys I did it! However there is one program that's not going away but I don't think it's *too* harmful... heheh.... heh...

If anyone was wondering I used IObit Uninstaller and it is honestly the best thing since sliced bread

edit 4: Actually the malware is automatically reinstalling periodically. Any suggestions?

Have you tried Malwarebytes? Install it and run a scan. if whatever virus you have blocks it, you can use this to bypass it https://www.malwarebytes.org/chameleon/

Also what Anti-Virus do you have? Avast has a feature that can scan files/folders for viruses

    oh....

uh, yeahhhh. I kind of uninstalled a program called "malwarebytes" today....

I don't believe in "anti-virus" software because the best anti-virus is called not-being-an-idiot and downloading suspicious files from the internet. I knew the source was suspicious but I thought I would be fine if I unchecked all of the boxes (I wasn't).

I managed to remove the one program that wouldn't go away which I think was causing them to redownload (it was an extension in google chrome). Now the only problem I have are ads popping up but I think it's because I deleted my ad blocker by accident .-.

My friend was the one that told me to download it when I first built my computer so I'm waiting for him to respond to remind which adblocker I was using. I'll see what happens after I get it

    noob

The reason that your computer became infected is most likely because some viruses are hidden in .exe/application files that infect your computer when you run/launch them. Always scan these kinds of files before running them. I use this website to scan files for viruses.

Use malwarebytes. Literally best thing out there. It's so good I bought the pro license.

Putting an adblocker to stop adware is like covering your eyes so that you don't see a wound

and PLEASE please please get anti-virus. Almost everyone wth internet has gotten malware at some point. Better to be safe than sorry

I think I uninstalled it because I didn't need it for what I originally got it for.

I ran malwarebytes and it said a lot of malware was removed (I checked and most of the malware had the same names of the programs I uninstalled. But I still get theses things:

    http://imgur.com/Py3nWaL

    (Reply inception)

The ads on the right pop up randomly and all of those tabs on top are opened periodically whenever I click ANYTHING.

Do I need something else for this?

Edit: I searched up "how to remove 'Shopping Assistant' and did all the steps but it's still here (Adwcleaner, I have no extensions, Malwarebytes, HitmanPro, Manually Uninstalling)

When I ran Adwcleaner it found the file and said it deleted it but it's still here.

Edit 2: Wow uh, I think I just blocked it.
Unless it's only gone temporarily, but using the adblock extension I was able to manually block it and I think it's working...

There's a certain point where a file is fixed to a hard drive and the more you try to do, the more it comes back. If it keeps persisting, you may need to bring it in to a computer shop to get cleaned.
