    Welp, this is a bit random but... in 1.9 particles are not entities anymore, meaning it will increase the performance of servers a ton :V. Hopefully this should fix some issues that were going on.

    o; It seems like 1.9 will turn out to be a much better update than I was originally thinking. I like pretty much everything in the update other than duel wielding.

    You know you can't use the item in your left hand, right? So you can't dual wield swords or anything like that :v

    You can... kinda. For example, if I have a pickaxe in my right hand and a torch in my left hand, I can left click to use the pick and right click to use the torch. Same if it is a sword, as soon as shields are added and swords are unable to block. It won't really affect much though.

    Yeah I know that. I just think that it will change the feel of minecraft too much.

    Yeah, in the same way everyone got used to the 1.7 sprint. Not a lot of people liked it. It was just kind of there... not a lot of people liked it.

    It was like that before, I don't know what happened, but now you can duel wield, which ruins the purpose of Minecraft.
    Agreed, why make all these useless changes when you can just get a freakin mod...

    They're trying to make minecraft as real as possible when they don't even physics (floating blocks)

    That's exactly what I was thinking. Why should they be focusing on making sure that you have two useable hands when you never get thirsty, there's no gravity there are zombies! xD
