    Currently the two options to mark a report (Other than 'In Queue') are successful and unsuccessful. When you report someone that was banned before the report you get 'unsuccessful'. This is not entirely fair, the report is not SUCCESSFUL but the player was still banned. You should not get the same amount of credit as if you got a false report.

    My suggestion is: Make a third option so that there are three possible outcomes.

    Unsuccessful: Insufficient evidence/not hacks
    (Not sure what this name should be)Semi-Successful?: The player you reported was already banned.
    Successful: A player is banned directly because of your report.

    I know that this is not a huge deal, its just something that I noticed. If I have 100 correct bans, 45 people that were already banned and 2 false reports it looks like I have 47 false reports. It would also be a good way to show how accurate someones reports are.

    When you report a player who was previously banned for the same action, you have a special status for that which is:

    "User previously banned for same incident".
    This couldn't be successful because someone already reported him/her, also this player cannot be banned twice.

    I already know that. That is if you're looking at it from a 'credit' stand point. The person who reported the hackers main goal was to get that hacker banned, therefore their goal was successful. Is that not the main reason for reports? There should be a third final result at the top, just as there is on the actual report.

    That is what I'm suggesting ^ (Or something similar)

    There is already three results you could get on the report reply: Banned, Insignificant or Already banned. Why should there not be three final results?

    If you report someone you are hoping that they are banned so that the server is a better place. Why should you get the same amount of recognition on a report where the player was banned just not off of your report as a false/insignificant report?

    The totals are there for your convince. It's just a way for you to personally glance at your statistics from a standpoint. I think you know this though and the suggestion is still very valid for personal records.

    Currently, we only track reports as in-queue, successful, and unsuccessful. We do not actually track why the report was unsuccessful, it's just a reason that the staff member can select, select and edit, or fully type. We would have to have the staff member chose the correct "unsuccessful" choice bubble and assume they do not edit the wording to be a different result.

    Long story short, it's possible, but with the current setup it will take a fair amount of work to get it to do this. We could still have some discrepancies in the numbers depending on how previous resolved reports were worded and how staff selects the unsuccessful message in the future.

    Anyways, consider it on the someday todo list. For now, I've removed the blunt "unsuccessful" number from showing. You can still calculate how many "not 100% successful" reports you have though.
