Waffle Development Log #1

Well... first of all I don't want to seem like some big guy who knows all the updates and things... but I'm just gathering information about what I've seen new and conveying it to you guys , don't lose hope, there are a bunch of updates yet no one realized about it, you may realize/know about these updates, but stay tuned.

NEW ANTI-HACK PLUGIN​

I'm not sure if this is confirmed or anything, but I'm like 97% sure there is a new Anti Cheat Plugin, nevermind notch that up to 100% . Well basically you may have noticed things like [B.A.C] THE BAN HAMMER HAS SPOKEN or something along the lines of it, that's the new Anti Hack plugin. This plugin picks out individuals that are suspicious and bans them. You may think... "Oh... just like NCP and it always kicks you for flying", this my friends... has been fixed! (at least I'm pretty sure), but @hallopiu and @Pitzer made a found for how to get banned... I don't know why they would want to do that... but... SURE! Lately the Ban Hammer has banned the wrong people, don't worry... you won't just move and get automatically banned, you have to do some weird stuff... even if you get banned falsely, you can easily ban appeal or talk with a staff member and you will get unbanned ASAP. The coders are trying to adjust KnoHax V2 to the servers and fix the false bans. If you watch Hallopiu's video you will see a cool 'finisher' happens when the Ban Hammer 'speaks', I think this is very cool and I'm sure lots of others will enjoy this when you get to see that annoying hacker getting either crushed by a huge sword covered in lightning, or get obliterated by a storm of sword. That's what I've seen so far but I doubt those two are the only features...

Also with this problems related to Nocheatplus have been fixed! I tried this myself and went on KitPvP, quick-dropping is much more easier for me, and much more things have been fixed.

Also with some screwing around and testing, I've figured out a relatively easy way to get hackers banned. I tested this out in KitPvP but I'm confident it will work with others server as well. Basically you want to know exactly what hack they are using, straight off the bat if they're using a really obvious hack such as speed and fly, I'm pretty sure the Ban Hammer will straight away ban them. But sometimes it takes a while for the Ban Hammer to ban players with Reach or Kill Aura. I method I found out to speed up the process is well... confronting them, and trying to stay alive. This is way more easier in soup servers, considering you can stay alive longer with soup, but you basically have to act like you're recording the hacker, go around him and make him try to do things a normal player couldn't, such as reach impossible angles and do impossible headsnaps, I tried this and it worked perfectly fine for me, keep trying to do this, and you'll be rewarded with a hilarious special effect in which the hacker gets totally obliterated with diamond swords.

Well, this is all for the Unofficial Development Log. It was pretty short now, but I'll be trying to post a few updates that some people may have not noticed or there hasn't been an official thread stating the update.

 

There are specific lobbies that are bugged, just relog or do /play lobby <which ever one you're not in>. Sometimes one lobby is bugged, then it gets fixed and another one is, just go to different lobbies and it should work.

EDIT: Brawl based BAC Bans off of Steam's VAC bans? Lol
