Story My First Love

Hi, I just wanted to update the WarZ story but, to slightly make up for it. I'm writing a story about my first true love. How should I start this, oh I know.
Once upon a time, in a country far South. It's name is Australia, there was once a little boy who was moving into 1st grade after finishing Pre-Primary. I think, I a first person point of view would be better for this so let's change this up. I was excited about entering year 1 but I had to move schools, as devastated as I was, I forgot about it shortly. I was a class clown, figuring it's the only way I got attention. I even had a small fetish of licking the glue, I still remember it. The taste was bitter but sweet at the same time, I managed to make it into a small group with just five of us. A months have past since I started this school, it was time for show and tell... The girl, that was just in the centre of every boy's attention in our year, had come up and presented a picture of herself in a pure white dress, similar to that of an angel's clothing. The girl and I didn't talk much at all, but I liked her. I decided the only way to become friend's with her is to talk to her, my mind and heart had already set what I should say to her. After the show and tell, once she was finally alone I came and sat next to her on the ground and said "You look pretty in that picture". She had misunderstood what I said so she replies with "I know my cousin took the photo". She thought I said that the picture was nicely taken but I said "No, I mean you look pretty in the picture". She became extremely uncomfortable with what I said, blushing red. Though she managed to say "Aw, thanks you're so sweet." I didn't understand the feelings I had for her back then. I didn't understand the concept of love and to be loved. Though the next day, my friend's told me that she put something on my desk. There it was a cute little pink envelope with a cake drawn ontop of it. I slowly read what it said,
Dear, (My name)
Thanks, for calling me pretty yesterday.
I'm not sure how to thank you so I decided
to write this letter thanking you.
You're a nice person, I hope to get along with you.
I like you.

(My first love's name).
Well that's basically it, even though we were seperated for 7 painful years after that, she had stayed in my heart forever. We were reunited in year 8, and yeah... You know what happens after.
Alright this is just to make up for the WarZ story. This is not made up, I used the old letter I still have in my locked box after refinding it. I never thought I would keep something for over 10 years now, I showed her, her own letter. Writing this makes me think back when I was just a little clown back then. Till this day, we have not been seperated. (I'm in grade 10 now).
Alright if I don't write the WarZ story by today, I will slap myself. @JuanIsDead remind me, you are one of the main side characters remember.
