Okay well I think its time the Admin+ Perm rooms are ridded of because you can't reach any staff. I had one simple question...so I go look at @Signatured room. Which featured @Chap, @Mojang, and @poaches aswell as Sig himself. None had been idle for over a minute but none of them answered my question. That is ridiculous. How do you expect to run a successful damn server when you can't even rely on staff for help with questions? So I think you guys at the upper staff should make an effort to be in the public more often so you can help all the people out there who need you guys at times instead of hiding in the private support or other hidden rooms/locked rooms where nobody can get your attention. Plus, just delete the staff rooms as a whole cause if they really need a private room they can make a temp channel. I feel much like my TS question, this will go unanswered and no improvements will be made, but I felt I should make this experience public and hope that someone can do something about it.

UPDATE: @poaches did answer a little bit later.

We were all busy working on WarZ map changes, weren't focused on responding to messages. There is other staff on the TS than our channel.

    Sorry.

The only other two staff I saw on are Ashlyn and Doges, both sound muted and AFK.

We have several forms of communication where you can ask the staff a question:
    - Forums
    - Teamspeak
    - Slack

You don't need to rely on our specific channel 100% of the time if you have a question. We are busy a lot of the time and cannot answer your questions at lightning speed.

I asked Sig "question almost 2 hours before asking anyone. and why am I gonna go to another platform for a TS-Related issue. And if you guys are the only staff online, what am I supposed to do?

You shouldn't be going straight to an admin unless you actually have a severe issue that needs to be worked out that the lower staff cannot handle. All the SMODS+ are very busy working and have little time to respond on TS. You should always be going to the Mods, JMODS, etc. rather than just going straight to SMODS+.

We have other platforms of communication because if 1 staff member can't be on 1 maybe there is one on another that you can get in contact with quickly.

The Issue was whether something was considered doxing. I thought that would be a higher-level staff issue. Idk, I figured like the staff on TS could've helped with a TS issue sooner. Next time, I will go to slack instead.

Thing is with this, as long as it's not a economical glitch they are not going to do anything about it immedately. If you require a moderators help, please PM them or like you say, find one in TS. You really shouldn't bother admins man soon as they are so busy all the time.

I think channels like these should stay, it can be used to discuss updates and changes (but at the same time, Slack can be used to do the same except you can still talk to staff even if they're speaking in staff-only chats).

As explained above, the higher ups don't have much time to sit around in public channels answering questions. Contact junior mods and global mods first, and only proceed to contacting Smods, admins and coders if normal Mods can't resolve your issue. And if you do contact them, be prepared to wait longer than with mods. Furthermore I think they should keep staff channels, because then the other staff knows where to find them, and they can talk with them without getting disturbed.

Questions that do not need an immediate answer should be asked on Slack. You can get a response there from the community as well. Staff only channels are also very important, as we need to utilize them for discussion and decisions.

Although I understand that staff members may be busy and were probably dealing with important issues, all staff should go out of their way to answer any and all questions from the community. Regardless of what you are doing, you should always respond to players.

Making good impressions on players is a key aspect in becoming a well-respected staff member.

Yes, but a S-mod, coder or admin shouldn't waste their time answering questions that could easily be answered by the moderators.

Then it is better to sit in a staff exclusive channel. They won't get bombarded with questions that the mods can answer, but if there is an issue that a moderator can't solve, a mod can easily get hold of them.

If I'm only on teamspeak, I'm not opening another platform to ask a staff member a question, I should be able to PM and get a response on TS easily.

There where like 2-3 Mods i also asked and got no response. But like I said, the issue at the time was whether someone was DoXing, which I assumed would be something that requires immediate attention by staff.

    - Staff meetings
    - Staff Discussion
    - Private conversation outside of the Rooms / Jails
    - Staff interviews

There are reasons we need these channels. I don't think they will be taken out.

Simply the fact that these channels exist should not factor why these mods aren't responding. They are expected to respond quickly regardless of the channel they're in.

The last time I came on Teamspeak, everyone was hiding in their WarZ / Staff channels and I almost had nobody to talk to. Except the Music Bots but they don't have a mic so I couldn't hear them. We should remove the staff channels because we can share our feelings with the staff members as a whole and probably build online relationships of the same sex :3333333333333333
