Hello, I would like to inform you all that many players are abusing Global Chat by bypassing chat filters... May you please do something about it.... because their may be children playing...

It's an e rated game after all
And yes, I agree. The global chat really needs to be fixed, as you stated, there are children playing, and since the shout is currently broken causing it to anonymous, and it ignores chat filters, it will result in endless swearing and disrespect, and, as you showed that screenshot, someone insulted someone by saying that they eat orphans (wtf does that even mean)

Example: I was playing with nezz and trev, someone shouted "nezzr sucks trevor's v******" and it has gotten extremely vulgar. Someone even had a screenshot of someone doing a s** roleplay in anon global, my eyes practically flamed up and burned to ashes. That should be like not happening. Best they can do is disable non-staff from /g until it's fixed D3rgps31

So the multiplayer feature has a dirty community, k. Thing is, most of the game's original purpose was mainly focused on singleplayer which isn't all that dirty, and multiplayer is only optional. Kids can simply avoid seeing the swears by turning their chat off, but the xbox multiplayer probably has the same and it still keeps its E10 (the stop staring at a wall and get hunting thing brings its 10+ which probably applies to the pc version as well), and well, yes, brawl uses a chat filter for the simple reason that there are kids on which should not be seeing the excessive levels of swears, but since the "Welcome to the internet" thing applies to every multiplayer thing of every game, and the internet has a lot of immature people, there will always be those people who discover loopholes around the filters. The admins could make the swear filter better by applying it to /w and /g, and the chat would be perfectly clean.

that or they could just steal mineplex's swear filter :v

Until the problem is fixed, I suggest you try as best as you can to ignore it.. They just want attention and by reacting to their immature actions you'd be giving them what they want. I do agree that action needs to be taken because as people have said, there are indeed kids playing which do not need to be introduced to such language at their age. I hope the players abusing this command feel horrible. (Eventhough we all know they really don't but eh.. not much we can do about that.)

It's been worse for me. My parents set a bad example by swearing like crazy at each other when I was like 3

I like how parents just assume their kids are really that gullible.

This, as with all things Internet, is the sad norm.

And unfortunately every kid-friendly community has been taken over by the immature.

Unless servers are run very strictly, but then again, 80% of all gamers are immature.
