What I find really annoying while playing is when someone msg's me with /tell, I have to type /tell and their entire username to reply to their msg every single time. Maybe in a minor update, this small feature can be implemented so that you can just type /r and the msg to reply back to them in-game instantly!

    P.S. /r means /reply

Yeah same thing goes for clans. When I invite someone, I have to type out the entire name perfectly no matter how short or long it is.

Pretty much. I have noticed however when you do /clan invite (name), it does not work. Not sure if this is a server glitch, a coding glitch, or a glitch in minecraft, but it is there none the less.

All you need to do to reply to someone is type /tell <first couple letters in username> and then hit tab. This should automatically fill in the name. If it doesn't, just hit tab until it does show their username. I have noticed that this doesn't work for some commands, such as /clan invite, though.

Doing /r (msg) is a lot more simpler, quicker, and more known by players then what u just said.
Again, /r is known on many servers. I don't think many people know about that command. That's why I suggested /r (msg)

I know. I do think that /r should be added, but I am giving you a tip to use until it is added.

I learned a trick for that.
    What you want to do is;
1.) Click "T" to bring up the console.
    2.) Click "SPACEBAR."
    3.) Type "/clan invite"
4.) Hit the space bar again right after "invite"
5.) Start the players name you want to invite.
6.) Before completing the name hit "TAB" until you get the correct players name.
I suggested this on the old forum and it was totally ignored. I am glad that the new forum has brought it to new light.
This would be an awesome addition.
Fast, easy, and haste free when you want to quickly reply to a "/msg."

I don't see a harm in this. It is true, that most people are more accustom the the traditional '/r (msg)' command, rather than re-messaging them again. At least, I find it easier :grinning:

The tab trick does not work with /clan invite, but it works with most other commands.

Yes, it does. Hit the "SPACEBAR" before you type "/clan invite <name>" and when you get to the name part "TAB" will work.

I swear. I hate how helpful and positive you are about everything. Its beautiful. But a simpler version of doing so would be alot better.
