Bringing back the old maps.

    So I joined mc-war at March of 2013 and I found it really amazing. I watched gameplay videos of the server on Youtube and I once noticed that some maps that dated way back to the old times were the ones I've never played on. If these maps were brought back, they would save a lot of time for adding "new" maps in the future updates of mc-war. Also, I think the last time I played on the map Blowout was in June. It's really rare for a map like this to come up when other maps such as Rush and Ambush are commonly brought up.

    I wish maps like blowout, ship battle, and oil factory were brought back.

    I think they got rid of ship battle because the ships were so close and you would always get spawn killed.

    I have never played on the "old" maps but I find myself wanting to after viewing them on youtube.
    They could;
    A. Add the maps to the random / voting system (In new update) map selector.
    B. Make an event day were they just host old maps.
    C. Update the "Old" maps and bring them to a new light.

    I like his last idea, about updating the maps to make them good enough to be used again. Some of the old maps I would really like to try.

    I started MC-War late September 2012, and nearly half the maps that played then, are gone. Only few still remain (LockDown, Beaver, Terminal, Arkaden, Dome, WildWest, etc.)

    Ite been a while since i played blow out. It was my favorite sniping map until i played dday1.

    TDM and CTF for Dustbowls 1-3, and TheHood_Tdm
    Also Blowout_tdm and Oilfactory_tdm.
    And Ship_tdm... and Val_Ctf.
    And all the other ones.

    An old CTF map that was removed because no one could ever get the flag. I think it was another halo map like beaver. Idk.

    You mean Guardian. That map was awful unless it had CTF, TDM, and Infect.

    Another map i miss playing is derriese. What happened to it? Dday1 from what i seen hasnt been showing up. The map i wish could be removed is domewaw.

    Derrise is still a map of mc-war.com.
    It is one map with a specific gamemode which means that the frequency of it coming up as playable is somewhat slim compared to a map with multiple gamemodes and "Newness."
