New gamemode idea related to ctf (no name yet)

    The idea is this:
    5 flags
    2 spawns
    2 teams
    All ctf classes
    About 2000 points

    The map has five flags 1 near each spawn two off to sides and one in mid (suggested map model) you gain points based on how many flags you have example: red team has 2 flags and blue has 3, blue gains 30 every 10 seconds (just an idea) and red gains 20. First team to a set number of points wins.

    You would keep all the ctf classes (this could even be a sub gamemode)

    Flag system: you would not capture a flag like take it to a base but the flag could be white at the start of the game and whatever team controls it turns their team colors and if another team takes it over it goes to them. You would need to defend and skirmish your opponent in order to claim victory.

    I know it sounds confusing now but it is easy to play and just as fun. Pm me or comment on this with any questions comments or concerns.

    (I also need a cool name for it)

    I am starting to make a sample map for this and i hope it will show you all how great this can be.

    ehh sounds a lot like a moba, I personally hate mobas. It's not a bad idea though.

    Zusheqiel I would like to think it would be a little different from mobas I think It would be most like marathi basin from WOW if anyone knows what that is.

    Well yeah of course it may be a little different but it still doesn't change that what you explained is indeed very much like a moba. That's what most are going to identify it as. Not all mobas are bad, I do infact play robocraft from time to time. It's more dota and lol that annoy me. Don't get me wrong this does sound like it would be fun.

    I think that instead of 5 flags it was 5 teams, it would be a really cool idea!

    its better than 5 flags, as people normaly go for attack ( only 2 or 3 for defence ) so it would be REALLY hard to have a good defence!

    So from what I understand it's somewhat like a zone control game? I'd make it more based on capture points and/or resource collectors which would generate points for your team, and that I think would be really cool.

    ... I never said anything about having doubts or concerns... all i was said was that
    -it looked like a moba
    -I usually hate mobas but I still play a couple
    -and that this looks like it would be fun...

    Listen man...

    Wait forget that, I like this idea better. One flag, five teams (or x teams for every x amount of players) that would be AWESOME! its like chaos times 5.

    btw no this particular idea is not like a moba
