New CTF Map making Idea

    Test Mode Ctf

    So If you have ever made a CTF map on build or otherwise it gets a little tricky, You have to compensate for all the classes so no class is over / under powered I think a Way to have a practice game would be awesome. Maybe The creator with the help of a mod could select some people to play a practice game, Then from the data they collected change the map It would make maps a lot easier to select and build.\

    I think some maps selected by mods with any chance of making it to a wave could be played out a set day that would be announced maybe 3 weeks before the maps go live this would give people to fix minor mistakes.

    I've seen @Xelia_ and @Nohox do this on build. We normally examine the maps before adding them.

    If maps are taken into consideration, it's common for them to undergo test games. So it is already a thing. ^^

    I'd quite like to see maps be played in public servers (and announced in announcement chat in Slack an hour before its played) so everyone has the opportunity to test them. A lot of Wave X maps have big problems that are easy to fix, and if everyone got to play them then the big problems would be fixed and it'd have been a much better map wave.

    The best testing is done in-game, because you need to see how the map plays out with dozens of players, something you can't check on build. The map itself is looked at on build already by all mods. ^^

    So nohox are you apposed or for the idea? I like what you have to say I think it could be chosen by mods and watched by mods and refined by the mods and creator.

    It would be good if it was similar to a competition, the winner's map goes public, for a week say, and then next week it changes to anyother, it really depends on how many maps are made per week

    Finished not made. But i think that could work Iike the idea of the public choosing, not just mods.
