    I think the picture displayed on your profile should be your profile picture not your avatar.
    In conclusion we can have a different picture which is displayed when we make posts and
    another picture for our profile.

    I disagree many forums have it and surely the custom title , and username would state who they are?

    Not a bad idea, but like mario said above it would cause confusion. But still, not a bad idea.

    How would it lead to confusion a picture doesn't define who someone is on the forums it's the Username and two people cannot simply have the same username

    Debugging problems since day 1 then fixing the errors to result in much sense , on a serious note yeah it does make sense thanks for agreeing.

    Agreed exactly my point and most people don't remember people by there picture theres lot of similar pictures they remember by the username

    This would get confusing overtime, changing one but then having to go log in to change another seperatly, not my cup of tea

    Really not confusing if we have the username there... someones avatar does not define who they are.. for instance "Mario" has the tag developer on his page if he changed his avatar to lets say a "Car" you wouldn't think "OMG WHO IS THIS DUDE ITS DEFFO NOT MARIO EVEN THOUGH HE HAS THE SAME NAME SAY TAG SAME POSTS SAME REGISTER DATE ETC" In conclusion only retards would get confused.
