Ur the noob most of the people applying from mcpvp r doing it for build,hg,CTF some noob brawl people as well the rest of the other apps for other games r from noob brawlers. So yea

 

I think that you shouldnt be able to apply before reaching a certain amount of posts. That would completely remove the players that just got a forums account and applied at the same day.

 

This has been suggested, and personally I like the idea, but people would spam posts just to reach the amount of posts to be able to post the mod app.

On topic: I like the idea of displaying a message at the top. We make sure to specify not to ask a mod to read your app, so why not display a message telling you to read Sig's thread. It could say something like this. "Make sure to read the guide linked in the application. It contains key information that is important for you to view if you wish to be accepted."

 

It's already a sticky thread, and there is a question asking you if you read it. I don't think it would be too smart to answer "no", so they would just go read it anyway.

Jk, but seriously, I think it'd be a pretty cool idea so that before you're able to post an application, there'd be some kind of quiz with questions that you'd only be able to get from Signatured and Peas's thread. It wouldn't be multiple choice, as you could just speed through all the answers until you find the right one, you'd have to type the answer into a text box, like on google docs or something.

It will cut down on the amount of applications. They don't have to be accepted if they spam.

 

There aren't even 25+ apps right now, and for the couple of people who wish to put in the effort to spam, they can just be denied.

I don't agree that people would spam posts. We have things in place to prevent that from happening, right.

 

But, think. There are many short messages not classified as spam. And if you get 50 a day, that's only 6 days of posting to get 300.

 

I see your point. That influences me to change my decision. I can see how that would not really help the community at large.
