Simple move run jump and most important a lost art leading your target ( shooting in front of them) that depends on how fast they are going and the distance between you and your target.

 

Aim ahead of the target if he/she is in motion. Remember, this isn't real Call of Duty and bullets don't have ultra speed while flying, so it'll take some strategy and skill to get used to sniping. Use snipers such as the Isolator for this kind of sniping. If it is semi-auto, treat it like it is a machine gun of sorts or like a stronger, longer ranged pistol, and do what you can.

Being a good sniper takes patience. Keep that in mind.

Nah. No one is born to be good at anything really. It all takes time and practice.

 

Well, I'm pretty sure I was born with the skill to be horrible at art.

 

if they are coming in and out of cover just shoot at that spot in intervals you eventually hit them.

 

This is the type of thing that will come with time and experience. All the comments I've seen above are true (especially leading your target) but the best way to learn is through practice.

Sniper Tip: 1- Aim your gun using left click
2- Right click and fire the bullet

Here's a better tip then what mokolee suggested. Try to rapidly left click, then right click, then left click again to get out of zoom. Repeat this process until you eliminate all threats. Also, try juking by jumping up and down or moving side to side to avoid incoming bullets while doing the left, right, left click method I suggested.

 

When the barrett was good I used the l118a. Don't know why, but I used it until level 43, then prestige guns

 

Tips:
1. Like people have said, aim ahead of your target.
2. Find a suitable sniping place, where you have a good view of your enemy (or enemies)
3. Try to stay hidden, for obvious reasons.
4. If a few people see you, move to a different place, because it is most likely the enemy go to your hiding place for revenge.
5. Quick Sniping. Zoom in before you go out of cover, find a target shoot, and get back into cover.

Anyways, it is true that the bullets don't travel like in CoD, so you do have to aim a little more in from of them, causing them to run into the bullet (seems silly, but that's how it works). Another tip is don't go rushing with only a sniper. Don't get to excited, you may go a little overboard and get to close to the enemy. Remember to stay hidden. Or, you could camp a door way where many enemies come in. Make sure you get those head shots

 

Neither is consistently an instant kill without headshots. The l118a has a faster rate of fire, and twice the bullet capacity to boot. The choice seems pretty obvious to me.

 

Personally, I tend not to use snipers because I think, most of the time, their generally low rate of fire does not suit the high intensity, fast games which are play on War, however if you're looking for a sniper with a reasonably quick ROF i'd go with the dragunov.

 

Use dragunov until you get msr/iso. Dissasembler is the only 9/10 heart gun you should use
