What would make Elite worth the cost?

Nothing... absolutely nothing justifies spending 240$ on a minecraft server that is arguably dying. Use your money on a new graphics card or CPU instead...

 

MVP Got a lot cool things like disco armor and particles..
The bad thing is you can't use it in a lot of the Gamemodes.
I rather want something i can use to nearly all games than none.
Elite is not worth to buy without some more things i Think.

Completely true. Getting a new graphics card or CPU can make gaming 2x more fun, and is not limited to one game or server.

 

1) Armor for free every round. - Eh, then what would credits be used for once all the guns are purchased? Especially regarding the 4th feature: spawning with nades

2) 90 bullets extra when starting. - This seems fair.

3) carry 4 nades, C4 or Molotov's. - Fair for the price, but may change the gameplay a little too much. Credits and donor store items may be deemed irrelevant if this is sure.

4) ability to level up 2x faster than MVP - Yes, especially since it costs twice as much for lifetime (I believe.)

5) priority bandwith - Not sure if this is possible, but I like the prioritizing idea to do with higher donor ranks.

6) The ability to lead multiple clans - Depends. This could lead to confusion and name farming. There should be a limit, like 2-3.

7) 2x speed in infect as zombie - That's too OP. Think about buying speed, being the root zombie with C4 and nades. You'd be unstoppable. Perhaps maybe a 2x speed BURST for a short period of time.

8) special abilities in spawn. - Sure.

Nice ideas, overlord.

 

For one, very creative ideas boiling here, I'm loving it all. So here's my pick at what we should do with Elite.

Elite:
Scav + Marathon
1 Grenade/1 Flashbang
+4 Credits and x4 XP per kill
Armor = 1/2 price
Double the usual extra ammo given
+10 ks = another extra ammo
-1/2 a heart resistance to explosives.

I think it's balanced enough honestly. As for Elite perhaps we could put it at a cheap price (maybe around 25-30 USD?)

 

Why not just... not sell it? Give players who have lifetime elite exclusive bonuses on mcpvp servers, since that's where most are from, then just phase it out?

 

Then we see servers that require over $100 for an overpowered diamond sword.

 

I think this is too much. Only a few guys with too much rl money can affort this, and they will be too overpowered...

 

I rather buy a spoderman kit...

Spending $240 on virtual items/ranks on a Minecraft server is pretty stupid. 5-10 bucks? Maybe.
240 dollars? Give me a free PSP and a two years supply of Baja Blast Mtn. Dew and we'll call it even.

 

My breakdown of what elite should be:
Kills: +4$ +55 xp per kill
Ammo: +96 ammo per guns

Simple. Go like VIP/MVP do and how each one is slightly better than the other

VIP:
Kills - +2$ + 35xp per kill
Ammo: +32 ammo per gun

MVP:
Kills- +3$ +45xp per kill
Ammo- +64 ammo per gun

 

Elite is a good rank but it costs to much

 

It's price is fair. They just need to work out the perks it comes with
