fpsHG discussion - Redo'ing

    Prepare for lines of text!


    So after SGG is gawn, we should come up with a new style of fpsHG that is enjoyable and balanced.
    Lets come up with ideas together, as a community...
    Please note that I will also work on this as much as I can and add in your ideas.
    Write your ideas/gun stuff/whatever you want here. You can suggest some ideas others or what I wrote down in the guns to change it.​

    Weapons are a big part of this, we need new weapons and not a old used plugin, start from scratch.
    -Use this gun info and the wiki to determine the stats-

    Pistols are supposed to be secondaries and aren't supposed to cause massive damage but they can be useful when in fights without your primary.
    Here's some weapons I came up with, these go in Tiers (top to bottom). Special weapons of that type are consider in Tiers as well, however they will be at the very bottom of the genre of weapon types

    Up9 (Starter)

    Fire Rate: 99 RPM
    Fire Mode: Semi-auto
    Reload Time: 1.2 seconds
    Magazine Size: 13
    Damage: 17
    Recoil: 0.1
    Range: 90m
    Hip Accuracy: 1
    Aimed Accuracy: 0.2
    Notes - Basic starting kit weapon.

    Y-Revolver Rarity 2-5

    Fire Rate: 144
    Fire Mode: Tri-fire (fires three bullets at once
    Reload Time: 2.5 seconds
    Magazine Size: 9
    Damage: 13 x 3
    Recoil: 0.7
    Range: 76m
    Hip Accuracy: 0.9
    Aimed Accuracy: 0.4
    Notes - Provides an actually good amount of damage at the beginning. It was said that one person had blueprints to create this weapon to cause pure annoyance and damage, however they said that "you can't have a pistol that takes out everyone in mid game..." -Nerf hammer

    Glock-07 (Tier 3) Rarity 3-5

    Fire Rate: 75
    Fire Mode: Semi-automatic
    Reload Time: 2.1 seconds
    Magazine Size: 20
    Damage: 32
    Recoil: 0.7
    Range: 90m
    Hip Accuracy: 0.3
    Aimed Accuracy: 0.1
    Notes - Quite a good weapon when you get up there.

    Desert Eagle (Tier 4) Rarity 5-6

    Fire Rate: 45
    Fire Mode: Semi-auto
    Reload Time: 2.8 seconds
    Magazine Size: 8
    Damage: 48
    Recoil: 1.0
    Range: 90m
    Hip Accuracy: 1.7
    Aimed Accuracy: 0.1
    Notes - Very powerful weapons come with a price...

    Phoenix Blaster (Tier 4) Rarity 5-6 Very rare

    Fire Mode: Single fire
    Reload Time: 3 seconds
    Magazine Size: 13
    Damage: 24
    Recoil: 0.2
    Range: 90m
    Hip Accuracy: 0.9
    Aimed Accuracy: 0.3
    Notes - Sets enemies on fire for 10 seconds (does not stack)

    Frat10n (Legendary) Rarity 6 (Maybe?)

    Fire Rate: 80
    Fire Mode: Single fire
    Reload Time: 4 seconds
    Magazine Size: 1 (Requires 8 bullets in-order to fire a single shot)
    Damage: 100 (Insane)
    Recoil: 2.0
    Range: 70m
    Hip Accuracy: 1.0
    Aimed Accuracy: 0.0
    SG553 (Tier 2)

    Fire Rate: 500 RPM
    Fire Mode: Fully automatic
    Reload Time: 3.5 seconds
    Magazine Size: 30
    Damage: 15
    Recoil: 0.3
    Range: 76 meters
    Hip Accuracy: 4.0
    Aimed Accuracy: 0.3
    Notes - resembles the sg553 from csgo,it uses automatic ammo.

    Need - Assault Rifles, SMG's, Snipers, Donor weapons(?), classes, new and old maps, moar suggestions

    What we want is a feeling close to fpsHG but changing.
    Still coming up with ideas but need the entire community's help.​

    They should make the old kits like Ghillie available for ranks such as VIP and MVP so fpsHG actually gets some revenue.

    Also:
    Weapon attachments:
    Scope (for autos/pistols/SMG) Improves aimed accuracy by factor of 3, but reduces hip accuracy by factor of 1.5.
    Large Ammo clip:
    Carry 1.5x the ammo than usual before having to reload.
    Grenades:
    Can be thrown for 3 second detonation, can be cooked by a weapon
    No molotovs.
    Smoke grenade:
    Creates blindness area of effect, unlike flashbang, can be stepped out of, creates particles.

    Gameplay:
    Chests in center with 2 minute invincibility, then split for chests on rest of map
    Chests in center refil in 2 minute intervals.
    Ended chests are scattered throughout map, contain only level 4 loot but very hard to find.
    After 10 minutes attack dogs spawn at the edges of the map and chase players into center.

    Why a new name? I liked the name. Also, I think the game needed more maps then anything else.

    A new name is a possibility but meh, fpsHG sounds better.
    More maps, yass.
    Will take your ideas into consideration.

    Donor Weapon Minifun (Unreal) Rarity 8 (Super rare / please don't make it donor)

    Fire Rate: 180
    Fire Mode: Spray like a noob you cheap loser
    Reload Time: Miniguns don't reload
    Magazine Size: 100 (I guess you pick up LMG ammo from others)
    Damage: 10
    Recoil: Imagine two bulls from Spain surging straight at you. That's every 10 bullets you fire.
    Range: 90 blocks
    Hip Accuracy: Worse than hip firing a sniper on McWar.
    Aimed Accuracy: Aimming down on a Minigun? You noob.

    Sir Inge mentioned a Negev so CSGO weapons and definitely the way to go. Maybe a gun from Terraria for the fun of it could work too.

    CS:GO weapons would actually be pretty cool to be added in. An gun from Terraria would be awesome :stuck_out_tongue: Phoenix Blaster?

    I feel we should abandon the tier system in favor of a smaller, more balanced set of guns. That way, winning is based less on luck and more on skill.

    That's a good idea. But fpsHG is usually about RNG, though we can make it so almost every gun is available but all of them have different stats that make their weapon different but also good. I'll see what I can do with changing the guns stats around.
